What i really like both Taeyeon and IU is their warm approach to the juniors, so humble, keeping a close body or posture to respect, they try not to act superior but i understand the unintentional strong aura coming from them.
I remember how tight soshi's schedules were in the past when they were very active from 2008 to 2013/2014. They mentioned it in Soshitamtam again too. She has been through countless times of performances and work schedules, endless times of tiredness from the back-to-back schedules every day every week every year. She understands how tough it is to experience all these stress and hardships, and this is why she can understand how other artists felt. Being an idol is not easy, but being an idol + main vocal is even worse. You have to keep singing all the difficult parts and high notes to the extent that you may damage your throat because you have to just keep on singing and dancing. During Soshi's era, they have to keep singing live without any back track too, it is very very stressful because you can't ensure that your throat can maintain that stability when you have overwhelming performances to attend. I believe this is the reason why there are many singers and idols really love and admire Taeyeon.
She almost did too, but she promised her mom that she would make a promise to her fans that she wouldn't go far away. Also the fact that she is as popular as she is, but she is still so sweet and kind to junior and seniors makes her loved by everyone. She is truly genuine.
