I was surprised when I saw the premiere schedule/countdown for this, it's indeed a legendary program, as someone who's not big on survival shows, it was the first idol survival reality show that I followed with each episode, I patiently waited for to be released (they're just clips and performance videos, but still). I just initially came for A.C.E but ended up staying for pretty much everyone. Of course, the show could be better but it was really nice that on the rapid rise of new idols, we get to know more about those who have already been on the field for some time, it's just a little sad that many of the contestants are not active or well known these days. Also, this re-upload and re-watch made me miss UNB and UNI.T, they deserved more recognition T^T

Geez, KBS, where was this when I decided to rewatch the series a couple of weeks ago? This was seriously the best of the idol-related reality shows. I loved that you featured the camaraderie between the contestants rather than manufactured drama. I did wish the editing was less confusing with all the unnecessary time skips, though. They should have done the eliminations first rather than picking out new teams first. It was confusing seeing people who were eliminated weeks ago show up again for the pre-performance clips. It's also sad that most of the few remaining idols that were both here and are also still working as one remain as unknown today as they did back then. 😔

I'm not sure most of them are still even working as idols anymore, but I wish they would do a reunion special.

@@MmeFleiss I saw Jun has played in many dramas, I also saw Marco and Chan's dramas. I think most of them (UNB and UNI.T) still keep in touch, it can be seen from their instagram

@@RikhaAyuMinda yes but except for Chan I don’t think the other members have actually released any music lately. I know Jun is now officially just an actor since U-Kiss just re-signed with new management and he’s not included. Marco’s group disbanded early 2020. Eujin and Hansol’s groups has been MIA since 2019. Kijung finally reappeared on Wild Idol after being MIA for a while but he didn’t make the debut team. Feeldog and Daewon are currently in the military but the latter is now signed on to an agency as an actor only.

@@AE-jy6yl Ah! Good to know! I was only going by what their kprofiles said, although I think I read elsewhere that Hansol is currently enlisted so I guess my dream of a reunion song/concert will have to remain on hold.

I thought this is new but it's a replay but edited version from 4 or 5 years ago The Unit. Jiwoon is pretty young here even Taemin and Rain were pretty much young unlike today. Anyway to those who haven't seen the whole unedited program, I think it is still available in kshows and other kdrama websites.
