Its same pattern as i experienced in skku suwon campus in Shingwan A and B hostels. Thanks for that nostalgia based memories what i experienced 7 years ago.
Hiii, I just saw in the comments that you were studying business courses. Are these courses are doable or they just hard? I was just wondering because I also read that SKKU is one of the best unis in Asia and it got me worried that if I go on an exchange there it won't be easy to manage my studies. Thank you very much for reading my comment!
Hello! I think the courses that I took during my exchange semester were manageable. However, I think it depends on the courses that you choose. Some required more attention that others but I was definitely able to balance school with personal life during the 4 months in Seoul. Hope this helps :)
Hello Fafa! Since there are multiple dorms for the Seoul and Suwon campus, it might be better to email the dormitory office to check the price range. Different dorms have different price!
Hii^^Thank you so much for filming this, I'll be staying at G-House and it was so nice to be able to see the whole room! I was wondering if kettles were allowed in the dorm rooms? If not how did you drink coffee/tea in your dorm during your stay? No kitchen thing scares me a little:/
You’re very welcome! Unfortunately kettles are not allowed but the dorm supplies water dispenser on every floor. So I just use the hot water from the dispenser for coffee and tea!! Also make sure to watch out for a flyer for renting mini fridge. It has limited supplies so I’d highly recommend you to share the rental fee with your roommate. Enjoy your stay at G-House! :)
Hi! Yes, unfortunately the dorm has curfew from 1am-5pm (or 6am) but I didn’t have any problems with it. At first I thought I would be annoyed by it but because most transportation stopped running at around the same time (unless you take taxi), so I tended to go back to dorm at 12am. You could still technically go out during those hours but you’d get a point deduction and I believe you would get kick out if you have 20 points. Also, the curfew is lifted during midterm and final weeks. Hope this helps! ☺️
Ahh I love the video!! I'm the 580th subscriber!! Okie so can I ask a question? How much is the fees of the semester in sungkyunkwan University? And do they want Toefl or Eilt? Also how much is the dorm for a single drom or maybe two roommates dorm? I love your videos and I hope u stay safe Crysta!!
Awh you’re so kind Narsie! Since I studied at SKKU as an exchange student in 2019, I paid the semester fee according to my home university’s rate. It would be best to email and ask them for the most updated information. Stay safe too 💗
Hello! The dorm fee varies slightly depending on which dorm you are assigned to. Since I went to SKKU in 2019, I’m not too sure how much they’re charging now. It would be better if you email the SKKU office and ask them directly!
Hi Lynn! Unfortunately the dorm house that I’m staying at does not have kitchen. However, there are two microwaves at the common area. I believe all of the other dorms have kitchen though!

Hi Ricky! Sorry because I was only an exchange student and I applied through my own university, so I’m not too familiar with the process of their language program. You might want to reach out to their office and ask. Good luck!

Hi! For G-house, each room is for two people, so you would have to share the room with another person (either a local student or an exchange student). Hope this helps!
I’m actually not too sure... I believe if you want to attend as an exchange student then you must go through your university. It would be better to check with your school. Good luck!
