just because the kidnapper doesnt look like a criminial doesnt mean that they arent evil

The vids with female predators are great. Even if they don't get the same intense reactions as with a male predator, it's serving as a reminder to folks that they need to reinforce the message to their kids to avoid strangers regardless of their age or gender. The tactic of using a young, attractive female is often one employed by sex traffickers, so kids need to be aware. As a child I was aught that if someone tries to grab you, scream bloody murder. Be loud. Let bystanders know you're not throwing a temper tantrum by repeatedly calling for help. Praying for a safer future. Sorry for the diatribe. Great vid as always:)

Problem with this experiment is that people passing by might not realise it's not just a daughter being awkward with their mother UNLESS they stop a few feet away and listen to what is actually being said..... And as the likelihood of just happening to come upon a kidnapping is so low few people would think it was anything untwoward. Nobody wants to intrude on the private relationship and parenting between a mother and child.

Honestly this can really pass for a mother and daughter having an argument. You’d really have to stop and see for a few seconds on whether or not this is true. Although it isn’t impossible, Japan (sorry its actually Korea) is definitely one of those places where you kinda don’t have to worry much about your children. That’s why children go to school alone at such a young age. The people watch out for the community because that’s their lifestyle.

In South Korea and Japan, people are so well taught and good!! They nearly all tried to help, I’m sure the other people just thought she was arguing with her mom.

Not many people helped because society don't view young females as being kidnappers or the hard p word. If you put an old, obese, creepy looking dude in that situation, you'll get a noticeably larger amount of people trying to help since it's the stereotypical hard p "look" that movies/tv shows have told us they all look like, but in reality, it can be anyone.

단순히 멀리서만 본다면 때를 쓰는 아이와 그걸 다독이는 엄마의 모습으로 보이지만 일부로 주변을 돌아다니면서 아이와 어른이 하는 말을 듣고 아이가 싫어하는 걸 알게 되어 곧장 아이를 위해 다가가는 모습이 정말 멋있는 것 같습니다!

와.. 음악 때문인건지 모르겠지만 엄청 몰입하면서 봤네요.. 시민분 말씀대로 정말 멀쩡하게 생겼기 때문에 지나칠 수도 있는건데 주의 깊게 보고 도와주신분들 진심으로 존경스러워요.. 이건 진짜 아이가 어떻게 대응하냐가 정말 중요하다고 봅니다 ㅠㅠ 교육을 정말 잘 시켜야겠네요!!

This video also helps show why it's so important to show your kids how to react to a stranger. Even a little girl crying and saying no can just seem like a daughter arguing with her mom. I used to teach kids and they'd argue with their parents all the time by saying just that. It's vitally important that you reach your kids to announce "I don't know you!" And "You're not my mom/dad/aunt" because even if someone is concerned, sometimes you only have a few seconds to convince them you need help, and if not, you only have seconds to show them this isn't just an argument.

honestly the reason human trafficking is such a big deal is because it's not easy to distinguish whether or not the kid is just refusing to go with a parent. I saw a similiar situation happen in Jerusalem when I went to Israel. It was a little boy crying and refusing to go with a man. We went up to them but the man glared at us and insisted that he was the boy's father, but we had a language barrier as well (since I was a tourist). Honestly I kept an eye on him and when he looked really mad I went inside a small shop to pray hurriedly and when I came back out he and the boy was gone. It still haunts me to this day that I might have witnessed a kidnapping, and even now I can't say for sure whether the boy was really the son of that man. He was crying and refusing a lot. I was 14 at the time and as a young girl I felt powerless back then, what could I do in a strange country? I can only pray my gut feeling about the situation was wrong and it wasn't really a kidnapping...

I'm always worried with this type of experiment that someone will just attack the fake kidnapper. If they're trying to get away and you really feel like they just tried to snatch a little girl, it wouldn't exactly be out of the question to forcefully stop them.

It looked like the little girl is just being stubborn to follow her mom That's why many people didn't pay that much attention to them

I’m very happy that there are people who would help, unlike my mom. My mom is very sweet, kind, and generous. But of there was anything like that, she would call it “none of her business” and leave the poor child. Also, she doesn’t give money to poor people since she thinks they may be faking. Don’t get me wrong, she’s very kind and loving!

I remember once when I was 16-17 I was out with my friends and I started heading home when i,heard screaming and crying and i assumed it was just a mother dealing with her child but as soon as I heard "be quiet you little-" I knew something was up, I followed the noise of crying and a kid trying to scream witch ended up in an alley way and a woman was choking this little girl with 1 arm a d other keeping her still with her hands on her mouth as soon as I saw it I ran right over than and immediately took her hand of her throat so the little girl could breath and started beating her on the back when she tried to run away I called the cops and she got arrested, that was the night when I saved a little girl (7-8) from dying of being hurt basly
