In 1967 I was 19 years old & loved to listen Engelbert Humperdinck’s songs or dance slow at the parties, under the melodies of his songs... Now, in 2021, whenever I hear his songs, I feel as if I still am that young girl in a mood of romance. He had great voice, great interpretation, handsome, noble & classy looks 🎶
Sammy Davis Jr, Bing Crosby, legends yes, but there will never be a bigger, better legend than Engelbert Humperdinck. What a lovely, compassionate man. Yes, it is about time he was knighted for his contribution to the music industry; such a dynamic singer and entertainer. We'll never see/hear artists like you ever again! Love you Engelbert!

I was a teenager when my mother bought your alblums, but the more I listened to them the more I appreciated the music ,the soul ,spirit, and deep feeling that came out in your voice. God Bless my mother who gave me a well rounded ear for all kinds of music. Music is in the feeling of our soul. Joy, sadness, regret, hope, they are expressed with a full heart from inside us. This is the music of our soul. Thank you for sharing your soul with us in your music all these years!🤗
Gracias.🎉
What a wonderful, beautiful man...and I remembered who made those sideburns famous and although I loved Elvis, Englebert was FIRST!! All I can say is what a lucky wife to have had him in her life all these years!!
What a Gentleman with an enormous heart and talent, a totally special unique Man and one of his kind. Thank You Engelbert for pure romance and pleasure 😊🤗
Engelbert is a wonderful singer, entertainer and also a good devoted husband and father. He reflects all the good qualities a dignified man of distinction should display, and it is certainly a prestigious title to hold. Well done on your frank and honest interview Mr Arnold, and thanks for entertaining our generation all these years with your wonderful singing!!!
Agreed. As a teenager here in Ireland, both my mom and i loved all his hits. In fact, we still have The Last Waltz on 45 vinyl, in petfect nick! A man without love has to be his best single
What a wonderfully genuine man. I did not realize that when I was young enough to say, "I am an Engelbert Humperdinck fan." Now I shall say it. So interesting to see that Sir Cliff Richard and Freddie Mercury share pretty much the same background. England is a great place to be if you have talent, and a great place to find acceptance and encouragement.
It's 2023 and he's still here which is incrediable and I deeply hope he has many years left. What a wonderful man who truly cares about his fans and is soo gracious to open his home for us to be able to enjoy a side of his personal life most entertainers will never let you see. I'm 68 and grew up watching many of the variety shows he appeared on and I miss those days very much. I wish I could meet him but don't feel that will ever happen.
Here is a great singer who worked his way to stardom. For those that think singing is easy think again. Talent, Luck, and Perseverance is what is needed.
Engelbert is a beautiful man, a gentleman. The best singer ever. I'm always happy, listening to his songs. I enjoyed this video of his home, part of his private life and glad he shared it with the world, his fans. God bless him always. Thank you for posting this video
Your songs ,my all time favorite. Love u my idol... I am a Pilipina admire u so much as my favorite singer. You, elegant songs, elegant rendition, elegant Engelbert Humperdicnk
Love this interview. I’m so glad Engel is back home in Leicestershire right now. I know being there without Patricia is difficult but I also know he loves his home in Leicestershire.
I admire the humility and gracious spirit this man has! It would be lovely to have him as a friend! Praying God will continue to bless him with good health for many more years!
Been listening to his wonderful songs since i was a grade school to-date,human will fade but his wonderful songs will never fade from generation to generation, from the rocky mountains of northern Philippines 😍😊😉
Engelbert is an eloquent and proper gentleman. His charm is equal to his gift of singing! My husband and myself must thank him for continuing to entertain us via U-Tube with his Tuesday-Musedays. He is so ginuine and we,especially, love to see him in his home life in the kitchen cooking, etc. Also, he has a quick wit better than most comedians! Love, Love Love him and praying for Patricia!!!❤️
I saw him in Las Vegas in the early 80's and again 2013 and he sounded just as fantastic--30+ years. One of the most beautiful male voices ever. My husband was surprised how much he enjoyed his first concert, so the second time around I did not have to force him to go. His last CD, The Man I Want to Be, is wonderful.
I admire his strength...his gentleness..love & devotion to his Wife & Family...I thoroughly take enormous pleasure in his music...He has an incredible voice....I adore him completely...Truly a God sent to his Family....
What a wonderful, loyal and faithful family man. If the world had more men like Engelburt with his compassion and understanding of life then it would be a greater place to live. His voice and genuine tenderness brings you closer to your fellow man and many countless memories through the passing of time. A true star who will always shine in the darkest nights keeping you safe whilst bringing light and hope until the morning sun rises. Devoted fan Nigel Raymond Wilson.

Engelbert was at home one day and accidently set the alarm off. I was a traffic cop at the time and the call came out. Myself and my crew mate arrived at his home and found him at the rear of the house. He apologised profusely, and invited us in for a coffee. We sat in the kitchen and had a very nice chat. He's one of Leicester's own, a great man! He also gave us a quick guided tour of the house and the 'Famous' Pub! That was around 1980/1

My beloved mother passed away recently, she had a collection of his albums and sang and danced. We were brought up on listening to Engelbert's music as young children. During my mother's Eulogy, my daughter made a comment about her grandmother's love for his music and recalled the songs that she remembered. My daughter was four at that time.
Ms. Gordon.....please accept my condolences over the recent loss of your beloved Mother....losing one's Mom is a horrible thing, trust me, I know....it's very difficult but i appreciate her Eulogy mentioned her love for Sir EH😎👑🌷

Engelbert and their beautiful home in Great Glen, UK. I have been fortunate for having been there. Did get a tour, but not quite like the one Enge is about to give you. If you see a mower being driven about, that is of course, Patricia Enge's darling wife of 53 years. Enjoy the tour! xxx
I absolutely agree with Dianne that Engelbert should be Knighted. He dedicated hisi whole life to singing beautiful songs and music and remained a dignified, soft-spoken and polite gentleman- how a true English genleman should be. Engelbert should become Sir Engelbert, at last!
Wow My friend 'Auntie' Pat ( I did not know who she was till years after we lost touch ) was incredible! A warm kind lovely modest woman who I and my daughter Elen adored. She predicted I would re engage with my art one day and now I am at 58 part way through my Fine Art degree. She often talked about her garden and I never had a clue like I say, who she was. So very sweet to see it here and her whizzing by on the mower... I am still sad for her passing and miss her, but lost her number and lost touch. My husband who has similar dark good looks has bought us tickets for the upcoming Leicester Concert. I know I will cry thinking of her, my condolences to Eng and all the Dorsey family, my husband is in a wheelchair and I wish Auntie Pat could see how happy he makes me xxxx
So happy that I had seen you in your concert here in the Philippines.I love your music since Ì was a young girl.God bless you and your family.Stay safe.♥️
My husband and I saw you in Warwick R.I.at the Warwick. Every BIG star performed there, and you were the highlight of performances. Heard you a few nights in your Hawaii performance. Still a truly great evening, and your dedication to your wife is heart warming. We all hope to see a cure in the near future for this disease of so many..God bless you and all your family, and God has certainly shined on you.
I remember my great teacher in junior high in 1968 in Pematang Siantar, Sumatra, Indonesia, a great admirer of Engelbert Humperdink, who taught us English and started with 'Release Me" to show an example of the verb 'to release', by opening the upper button of his shirt..
Dear Engelbert, how interesting; enjoyed all the interview; Patricia is so talented and you all garden is beautiful. Everything is beautiful WOW! So glad you are so blessed Sir. Thank you for the tour.Bennie
Engelbert Elvis had nothing on you you're the best 2 me I I've loved you for a long long time glad to hear you perform you're the best don't forget it my love Linda powell Tennessee

I'm so happy for all your successes. Your voice/music has filled my house for years. My kids have all grown up with your beautiful voice, beautiful words to such awesome love songs. You're the very best! After the Lovin and This Moment in Time are two of my favorites.
Brilliant interview. Lovely person and handsome man. First heard ‘Release Me’ when I was about six or seven years old, and still never tire of hearing it.
I was in my first year at "college" in 1968 in USA. I bought a couple albums; yours was my first choice. I never heard of you, but I had to have it. A man that handsome had to be good. I played the album over and over again. Your voice was (and still is) just amazing. You stole me from Elvis!!
May God bless you Sir!stay healthy!been admiring you through the years!am now senior citizen,8,5,48 is my birthday, and I love playing your songs almost every day!more power 👍😍😍😍
I have a compilation of his songs which I play nightly to put me to sleep. My favorites are "After the Loving", ""Love is All", "0n the Wings of a Silver Bird", "If Tomorrow Never Comes" and about 100+ others. I would recognize his voice anywhere. I never loved any singer the way I love him.
Now that was really lovely. Lovely, quiet interview. How often can you say what an amazing and unique voice this man has? Wonderful sound and breath control. That's what I always notice. And the voice is unique and beautiful. I must go now and listen to, "Please Release Me." (Very enjoyable video.)
THANK YOU! ---
Thank you so much for taking the time for this wonderful video. I loved the work your talented wife did with all the gardens, simply beautiful. I have enjoyed your music since 1969, when I heard your marvelous voice over the radio. Thanks again Engelbert for the years of performing.
You are so wonderful Engelbert caring for your fans, sharing your life with us and loving us as we all love you! Yes, GOD did save you when your were sick with TB because you let us love you and love sharing your life with us. Thank you!
one time long ago, I watched the EH variety show. He had a female singer come on and sing a song. While she sang the song Engelbert did a One Note back up.........for TWO MINUTES without taking a breath! He just kept going and going...it was AMAZING! I hope someone can find a video of that!
What a quietly spoken, affable fellow - not at all what one might think watching his shows in the 1960's/1970's. Very interesting video, thanks for posting!
Englebert you remind me of my 3-4th grade teacher, I was teacher's pet and he put me right in front of his desk!!! He was a cousin! I always thought if I met anyone like him I would marry them!
THAT BEAUTIFUL LADY HE MARRIED IS SICK AND SHE IS NO LONGER WITH HIM IF SHe KNOWS HIM AT THIS TIME. WHAT A wonderful PERSON HE has devotion is virtue. Love is forever . He is a nice person NEVER knew him only by his songs. Now I see a PERSON SO KIND devotion FOR his wife.
Such a wonderful dignified person who has everything,God bless him and his family,I enjoy listening to his beautiful unique voice when he sings those beautiful ballads.namaste.💫
