Engine 1/2 - Vlog 26 

All departments need an engine 1 / 2. Baby sound great idea. About 10 years ago a local department played audio of person saying "help me, help me, I can't breath" with coughs. Then stopped playback to evaluate if the trainee changed to a frantic uncoordinated search or continued as trained.

Engine 1/2 is cool. Love the wildland stories and the PIO/Prevention stuff with the kids.

Good Luck to Recruit Class 19-2. Love your Engine1/2 could you please provide the specs on it. I think it's a great PR Tool. I know some shops here in my city that might help me build one for our city department and county volunteer departments. It could be used at our Childrens Safety Village.

A 2 hour long all fire unit parade would have been way more fun. A specially when it is a mix of old, classic, modern full size to a line officers SUV. Like a fire muster parade. It is even cooler when a crew pulls an old hand pump fire engine wooden wagon.

Hey. What's with the blue stripe on the front doors? Is it a tradition or what? I thought it was repainted so it had that on there until I looked closely it's on a lot of trucks! Please let me know.

What cameras are you using?

I love all videos done by South Metro but have you thought about drone videos? Those would be cool to see some of theses videos from air and different views for not just this one but all of them!

Does anyone know how to trade with SMFR? I have a patch that I would love to send over.

I see a small problem with the course at beginning at 10:36. As a German i am used to go through courses like this with my 'Truppmann' or 'Truppführer' (a 2nd Person) to learn Teamwork, to strengthen the bond between these two and also for your and your buddys safety. I'm saying this now because I often see US Firefighters 'walking' around in Houses alone and them trying to be the Hero of the scene for excample if he's rescuing a Person out of a burning House alone.
