Well, actually yes. E2s could actually stand as tall as Gordon and his fellow A1s / A4s in real life. Thomas is just portrayed to be smaller in the TV series, most likely due to modifications.

Yes, in real life, there as tall as Gordon and the A1 / A3 He’s also very long so he was too long to he couldn’t go around the docks

@@FazbearEntertainment414 actually only 2 of the E2s were painted in brown, Thomas was sent to Sodor in 1915 and at the date, he had to be 106, because no other extended E2 was built and in magazines, there is a E2 with extended side tanks and it looked older then Thomas, the first 5 engines didn’t have long side tanks, so the older engine must be 105, meaning Thomas is 106, and 106 wasn’t painted in Umber Brown, he was painted in BR Black instead so he came to Sodor In Black

Because in The 3 Railway Engines i think they didn't have numbers. Along with that, Thomas was introduced in the second book

Thomas took number 1 when introduced, while the others received numbers in Henry the green engine. Edward was first, so he took No.2
