I bought the prime 4+ this past weekend and new to engine dj. I never thought that i was going to love it this much. Feels great going back to stand alone after 20 yrs.
what are they like reliability wise...i wanna switch from traktor as my main software get some 6000m's... i've already got some xdj'700's just to occasionally use so i don't forget how to use rekordbox lol
Engine 4.0 is a great update. However, I still miss being able to give or withdraw a star rating "on the flight". I can do that on the PC version, but I would greatly appreciate it if this function could also be entered on the Denon Prime 4.
I'm glad to see that you didn't abandon the denon hardware . All we need now is the ability to choose standard wave form colors and the Apple Music Library.
We need to be able to mark the stars within the player or controller, many times we download music and put it in and try it and it would be nice to be able to mark it as a favorite or rate it within the player or controller. Also that the songs in preparation are not deleted when loading them, that there is an option to choose whether to keep them or to delete them. Many people do not use the PC to prepare or mark the music, they do it as they try it.
I have never encountered the issue when loading tracks from the “prepare” folder, and not having them automatically delete themselves from the “prepare” folder. Always works for me.. Prime GO user..
Fantastic new update, love some of these new features, i was wondering though, when will stems be available in a update to all users and also it would be so nice to have alot more sample effects to choose from if thats a possibility for a future update Regards Richard
@@DJ.Kvn_ It’s been in beta with zero updates for a year. It’s not like it’s had refinement. This is now the second major patch / update since way before the stems beta came out. And they have not said a single word about it in 9 months.

@@djstucYou mean August 2023 ? Cause that is the last official comment on it. Always wild to me how people defend poor communication from companies like this. Even if there is some obscure comment on a forum that isn’t sufficient in any way shape or form when people are spending 2400 dollars on a product assuming stems are either out or coming soon. You can tell by the hundreds of posts in said forums all the time from people with new 4 plus’s not being able to figure out why they don’t have them.
Is there a Tidal/Beatport BPM/KEY sort feature in the new update or do you still have to struggle like before? It would be great if you could analyze all songs in one of your playlists and sort them all without having to use rekordbox🙂
It's a good attempt, however, everything is oriented towards the visual theme. I think there is a need for an update in functionalities such as being able to do acapella and isolate voices from instruments or that the Bluetooth connection can use effects from the controllers Keep working friends and thank you very much for the updates
🔥🔥🔥If we have two decks(2 sc5000’s) one song playing on each deck; why can’t we see the opposite track on the other deck while you have a stacked waveform just like on the CDJ 3000’s
😢 I'm not crying you're crying . . . . I love this update!! #HappyTears The playhead and the playlist are two EXTREMELY awesome updates. It makes it quicker to find a track especially when are in crunch time and are running out of time to mix out!! The darker background isn't my favorite, but I'm getting used to it and it does go better with the black finish of the unit!!
It also seems to run a lot more smoothly on the prime go and live sc 4. Very useful organizing tools too. But I'm still wishing for a way to organize the keys or BPMs in the streaming service playlists. I'm sometimes bound to still use Serato with my PC to just have the ability to view my playlists in any other way than ''first to last added''..
i do like the new update quite nicely actually, only complaint is its made my controller laggier and you removed having the wave forms be in view when pre selecting a tune which id quite like to see back
the update is masvie guy good job ,but miss the color music code in this update ,it will perfect if u guy relased this feature and the pitch play tone fearure ,i soon in the other update it avaiable
Nice! Please show how it's works on the SC5000! Does it goes ok, or a little bit laggy? I'm asking, because 3.4 was a laggy on my Denon Prrime 4, so I have to downgrade to the 3.2

Super updates, i only mis the know the decimal seconds after time remaing, shows only full seconds now. Question :can you show waveform from player 1 (sc6000m) in player 2 sc6000 m. ??

@@EngineDJOfficial haha, I really saw it because it's driving me out of my mind. I do not agree that it is a file error because it only happens with Engine DJ, and not with Rekordbox, Apple Music and other applications. It's an exclusive case of Engine DJ
Does Engine automatically make the bpm change in a song? for example from 96bpm to 120bpm and vice versa, to make genre transitions. If anyone can help me, I appreciate it.
How long until we see stems released as an official feature? I ordered the prime 4+ with the expectation that stems would be available out the box so this is a bit disappointing.

I'd really appreciate you guys if you matched your BEATFX Length for all BEATFX to 64 beats. For no reason at all, you only increased SOME of them to 32 beats, when Pioneer has a 64 Beat everything (Flanger being the most important) that you guys have failed to at least MATCH for years! Please do this! You will make more money and I know that's what you want so trust me!
I just updated and everything works/looks great. However, the Low Pass Filter doesn’t sound like it did before. Is there something I need to adjust? In my opinion, this was the best sounding LP filter remaining in the market.
Nice additions but Horrible display, squished wave formats and less view of more tracks on the performance library is crazy. Performance display was much cleaner before. Is it possible to unupdate it?
Dear Denon DJ, I've been a professional DJ for more than 20 years, and a loyal Denon DJ customer back to 2006 (DN-HD2500). I currently have two SC5000 media players, and x1800 mixer, my 2nd prime 4 and a prime go. I've put in my $.02 on the forum with many others about simple things, and they seem to get ignored. Some of these items include being able to load playlists to any deck, a relay play between playlists (not auto mixing, but auto fading - for background music at events), but my biggest pain that hasn't gotten fixed is the scroll bar being too skinny in the Genre menu for my fat fingers! PLEASE fix this before adding any new fancy things like effects! Otherwise, it would be nice if the database file were backed up anytime the drive is updated...so that if Engine thinks my drive wasn't ejected properly and the main db file is deleted, there's an exact copy of the most up to date one somewhere. Just a thought or two, but thanks for the update. I look forward to more updates in the future.
I had this happen on my mixstream pro go back with 3.4, I hoped 4.0 would've fixed the issue but it hasn't. Currently running 3.2 as that's the last update where my wifi works. There was a controller update built into 3.3, 3.4 & 4.0 on the pro go so I'm wondering if this is causing issues with some random devices. 3.2 uses controller version 1.0.0.1.0. 3.3, 3.4 & 4.0 uses controller version 1.0.0.1.1
@@mrgrumpy921 thanks for your insigth! I went back to v. 3.4.0 and it works again.. as i have the Prime GO, my controller verdsion is 00.59, so not sure if that applies to my case. Denon have quite a good trackrecord of fixing bugs and updating their gear, so i hope a solution will appear soon :)
I still think we should have a counter for how many times the track has been played! Makes searches easier. And on the sc6000 the waveform from deck 1 appears on deck 2 like the Pioneers. I would like to know if the denon x1850 mixer will receive any updates such as new effects and improvements
The waveforms are the most annoying thing on this controller! They are so damn big and in your face. I wish you can turn them off or move them to the top between the track titles.

Denon’s not the market leader, that would definitely hurt their bottom line. Besides, their products are much more affordable than the leading competition

I demand that Denon releases the Engine DJ software for my Honda Accord from 2006. I wrote some software in VBA so I know what I'm saying. The car has a computer and the Denon gear has a computer inside. It can't take more than a day to port the software to my car.
I miss 3.1 update because this new look looks bad in my opinion even this big waveforms, new look of settings, cues bar is now down and it’s not good and etc. I don’t like it
