I love that you're teaching the young guys that you don't have to take a loan out to go fast you are about the only one on RU-vid that is passing down some of the old school tricks that us older racers have known!🦅🇺🇸🦅
In a world of more $$$$ = less ET, you are a great inspiration. Even if you do not agree with your oil treatment or your piston repair, it should make you think about ways to save money to do what you love.

I know a father and son who used to bracket race 30 years ago. They were on a tight budget and ran used parts other racers were done with. That car ran well, they had a blast and they have a bunch of trophys and were track champions many times. This is your car so do it your way, and if it hurts feelings or brings out haters, oh well! That happens when you put yourself out there. You remind me of them so keep it up TJ. Go get some win lights and have some fun!
I'm Amazed that a backyard rebuild guy such as yourself, wouldn't put WD-40 or something on the cylinder wall when the head come off to keep the water from rusting it. I realize its surface rust but Grandpa always said rust don't sleep
I'm noticing a dome piston as opposed to a dish piston. (which seems to be more the norm on turbo builds). I'm currently building a turbo setup and not planning on changing my pistons with hopes that switching to methanol will work under boost with that much static compression. This gives me hope.

I know you’re making lots of power but I can’t figure out why your pistons don’t show any “heat” indications. They look brand new (minus the dents) I’m a nitrous guy and my pistons generally show thermal effects. Thoughts?
Great video as always looking foword to more of them I didn't hear anything about the heads accept when you were at the track the night it came apart are you going to refurbish them as well or are you going to replace them with other heads?one other thing while I'm waiting for new shirts to come in I see you only have shirts for adults and not kids are you going to be doing any for the kids?Thanks again for the video's keep them coming good luck GOB BLESS

Gray Ghost he runs an aftermarket block, it’s not filled. He doesn’t run water in it because methanol keeps the engine plenty cool. He use to run water in just the heads and had a head gasket with the water jackets to the block, blocked off but now he doesn’t run water in the heads either. Many joys of Alcohol
