Engine Live, As Yer Like 1989 (The complete DVD) 

My old band Mad Dog played the Marquee in London with these guys. The bass player put us up in his parents’ house in Birkenhead when we were doing gigs in the Liverpool area. I have nothing but good memories of these guys. Humble and full of fun, and I’m sending them best vibes.

oh mate me and our gurt used to follow engine around the Midlands in the 80s and has brought back soooooo many memories of good times in small pubs and clubs. thank you so much😎👍👍

I saw them supporting the UK SUBS at a Liverpool ballroom round about 1989. They were absolutely tremendous.

I Remember this band playing at the red loin pub barnton and at the cherry tree Runcorn and there has been no band like them ,Doing what they did on stage, They need to get the band back together. brilliant thanks a lot .

Just great to see this again...so many good memories. The best gig though was a shitty little social club in Liverpool (i think the manager new them and convinced them to play)..must have been bout 100 people there...what a gig/night. Would pay top dollar to see them again😁😁

I think I was at the the front. This brought back a lot of memories, such great nights at the Tiv, and Engine were fantastic always, Dizzy Mama, Badger and Dumpys rusty nuts to name a few I don't think we'll get those times back again...

I remember seeing Engine playing at the Sutherland Arms in Newcastle Under Lyme and if I remember correctly they even supported Dumpy's Rusty Nuts.

Many happy sat nights up jbs Durley with Engine never failed to make it a night to remember though hated them the next day. Drunk and spilled far too much Newcastle brown. Never get bored of watching this

Never missed them around Xmas/New year in stairways when they played. Even had them play on my 21st back in 1991. 200+ bikers/rockers/sweats an pot heads & around the same in family (they give up checking ppl on the club door an just let ppl in.) No problem all night. When I went back the club to get my deposit back the owner asked if I could organise stuff like that again as he would be happy to host it. I had to decline as I didn't want to get on the bad side of dolphy the stairways club owner. Never missed a chance to see Engine play.

What great memories i have of this band !!!! Saw them a lot in cambs. .....the boat race pub etc.

I first saw these lads at the White Swan (Mucky Duck) in Chesterfield on a Wednesday night. Blew me away! They later played a jazz and blues fest in Chesterfield and I've seen 'em several times since. Absolute crackin' band. I still p[lay the CD "Autowreck". Love 'em to bits.

Loved these guys saw them a handful of times. Always wanted them to make it big time they were amazing live.

I saw these at Warrington parr hall in'91

Seen these fellas a load back in the day at the tiv ,the wheatsheaf in stoke ,and at the star bikers egg and toy runs at stoke kings hall .now sadly the greedy council have priced the star bikers out of the kings hall venue ,even though a lot of bikers do these charity runs for the city ,mmm not much charity from stoke council to let them host a gig after the runs is there .not without robbing them to put it on at the kings hall ,grumbles ..❤

Last seen in Somerset (Sickle MCTCC rally) in 1985. Never forgotten.

Saw Engine,at Shoulder of Mutton pub in Chapel en le Frith,must have been around late 80s,one of the best bands they had play a gig around that time. Always remember the 007 tune.

Remember going allover the south east to watch these 🤪🤪🤘🤘🤘

These guys were Awesome. I never missed them.

I think I only saw them once - either at the Astoria or Hippodrome, when they used to have bands on for the rock nightclubs. Not my usual cup of tea, but remember being totally entertained. Great, great fun - and the synchro stage moves were brilliant - you just had to watch even if you didn’t dig the sounds.
