Hi, I am a engine Oil seller and I appreciate what info you have given. It would be nice if you have added the technical details of engine oil grades and where to use which engine oil. That is the same engine needs different grades of oil for different areas. For example, in cold weather areas lower viscosity engine oil and in warmer climates higher viscosity grades to be used for the same engine. 5w30 and 15w40 oil. Here numbers stands for lowest and highest temperature and w stands for weather. If you could have added this it would be complete and well informative. Thanks for your wonderful job anyways...

But as per engine oils,the grades will be mentioned, for example an oil mentioned as 20w-50 which states, w for cold temperatures and the number after hyphen for warm temperatures (usually the engine operating temperature - 90-100°C ) so usually the engine oils are cold in normal temperature,that is it has viscosity of 20 as of standard rating(whose viscosity is low at starting or cold conditions) and when it gets warm due to the continues running of the engine,the oil gets hotter and thus the viscosity is increased to 50,so that it provides more protection against friction .so what you said is not a proper explanation as of engine oils, please correct the information which you have provided,it will be really helpful for many people,Thanks LMES.

Tnx bro ...... but i think not only the reason for oil viscosity friction. Engine combustion chamber temperature also one of the reason for vehicle start struggling. We can solve this by giving more fuel to engine when cold starts.

Bro Good Video I am telling you what I know For example, 15-40 Engine Grade Oil viscosity won't Change at Temperature below -15 Degree C To +40 Degree C Then why bikes struggle to start in the morning because Due to the gravity all the oil will be at the bottom of the engine, if we Kick start sum oil will be pumped at the top of the engine so the piston will be lubricated and easy to start. so whenever we start an internal combustion engine like Car, bike or lorry after an initial start in the morning we have to ideal it for a minute for all the oil to be circulated 100% so less friction, smooth and long engine life.

Engine oils are not simple high viscous oils. They are SAE grade oils which withstand viscosity within certain limits even with change in temperature. So oil viscosity is not the reason for cold start. Ask this question, how engine starts with choke during cold start then? So the answer for cold start in the morning is 1. Viscosity increase of petrol due to which it can’t vaporise properly 2. Air filter sponge will be full of cold air molecules which cannot burn spontaneously. Engine oil viscosity might be a small reason, but nit the main reason. So only u can use choke to overcome cold start.

That's why , in kick/self start bikes, the manufacturers advised to start by kick starting every morning at first time.

Not agreeing to the fact that engine oil's will have high viscosity in the morning- The engine oils are graded something like 5w -30, 10w - 30 etc. which means the oil are guarenteed to maintain the same viscosity when the temperate is either 5 C or 30 C. You could have covered choke valve too, . Its purpose is to restrict the flow of air, thereby enriching the fuel-air mixture while starting the engine. Starting bike with choke for the 1st time in a day is advisable.
