Good job and really nice filming! It's important not to forget thread locker. Only things I would've done differently is to soak the clutch plates in regular motoroil before assembly, and not use the assembly oil on it, as I have heard the additives in the assembly oil can foul the clutch plates. But it clearly worked out for you! I also like to grease the side cover gaskets, that way when you remove them in the future to check valve clearance for example they are much less likely to break.

The fact that you are using torque ranch for tightening every nut on that engine clearly indicates that KTM must have given torque value in their repair guide / manual. This information is not available when you see the Indian engine repair guide / manual. Anyways great vide and thanks for sharing.

Hey, I'm from Austria: Nice reassembly. Please don't use Ketchup to pre-lube your engine during assembly. Use engine oil or grease.

My experience for about 10 years, working with the trucks&heavy duty engine, overhaul is the same like in this video. Most of the people will think that we are born talented, but for me it is due to our understanding and practices. So everybody can do this job IF u understand parts and their function, and also hands on skill. Wish u goodluck in the future.

Nice video, one thing iwill like you to assist me with, the older 390 engine gear position is different from the newer engine the new one only have 3 wires. Do you or anyone you know have the experience in dismantling both engines? And can you say if the old senor can blot in place of the newer engine and will it work? Thanks
