My 2003 Chevy Avalanche has this problem. The throttle body is new and I'm still dealing with the same problem. Is there anywhere else where I should look?
If it is a 4x4 check your front driveshaft there is a wiring harness that be making contact with the driveshaft, if you replaced the throttle body it needs to be relearned
@@therealdealtech8460 regarding the wiring harness potentially making contact with the driveshaft: would this cause a grounding issue? I've got a loud whining/buzzing noise coming from my radio. This is in addition to having the same P11516 & P2101 engine codes. Thanks!
@@rylanrussell4861 it was my dads truck. We replaced the throttle body and it worked better but still kept acting up. The scanner said it was the temperature switch but we didn't change it cuz didn't think it had anything to do with the problem but he recently changed it and now the truck runs great. Weird
I got the reduced power today.. Had 6 codes , had a spare gas pedal , cleared the codes and had P2101 or what ever.. Waiting on the new TPS module tomorrow..will also clean the throttle. I put an intake on last weekend and there was build up on the TB. 😂
