Morning Adrian, I like how this shows how a farmer has to have a bit of knowledge about everything. The girls will have a lot of fun and it is nice for them to have some input on the quad. My friends grandfather was a farmer and when things would break down he would take things apart and do his best to repair it. Once things we’re running again he would say “ a farmer can be a mechanic but not every mechanic can be a farmer”. Have a great day!

Be fine quad when finished put new tyres and steering bushings in my one last week parts are slow to come check steering knuckles mine seized with no warning pulled handler bar out of my hands

It’s ok for small stuff, got that a few months back in a kit with the bigger 3/4 impact as my dewalt 3/4 was disappointing. Still love my dewalt stuff

Hi Adrian, the bar coming off the chassis on my one has 2 rods that run under the heal rest and clip onto the foot rest hope that helps

Fair play.. its not easy to admit when you need to put things out to people to get repaired knowing you could of done it yourself but time was the issue . Your ain't have doing the proper job on that quad to 👍. Just moved to Cavan a couple months ago. With 13acres to look after is a daunting task for a ex city lad but your channel has been very enjoyable to watch & learn. Currently looking at a small tractor to buy & most possibly a quad also. Would you have any recommendations for a novice like myself?. Thanks for sharing.

Well mate, get your yourself a little 500 series Massey, sometime like a 550/565/ 575. Brilliant little tractors and easy to look after. Honda 300 quads or a 500 like mine are hard beat for quality 👍

Two fun projects Adrian, is that an m12 Milwaukee impact? Is it good enough to take wheel nut off quad/car/tractor?I Was looking at them and DeWalt 18v can't decide which to go for!

The dewalt is certainly up to the job, I've never tried a miluwake as I have quite a few dewalt batteries.

@@mrcallaghanbarry my dewalt is the 18v, the 3/8" 12v is really compact but I'm not sure if it would handle undoing tight wheel nuts.

Yes that’s the 12v Barry, that’s one of the smallest in there range. Would be completely useless at taking of any wheel studs. I have the dewalt 18v 1/4 and 1/2 inch impacts, I also bought the Milwaukee 3/4 in November last. If it’s wheel studs you have in mine then the Milwaukee 3/4 all the way. Now I love my dewalts but the 3/4 was a big let down power wise, wouldn’t remove tractor studs unless they were broke first. The Milwaukee is heavy and expensive though but an animal of an impact. Always finish studs with a torque wrench anyhow lad
