First time I'm listening Qaiser Raja sb and for the first time I really enjoyed the sitting or podcast thoroughly. I didn't even feel for a second that I m waisting my time. Don't have words to praise you both. Many more podcast like this are necessary for nation or Muslims. I would urge you both that please arrange this kind of podcast on weekly basis. A lot of youtubers, content creators, intellectuals have done a podcast with Engineer Shb but so far I believe that this the best ever podcast highlighting the aspects that were put under the carpet. The phenomenon which engineer sahab is considering as "impossible" i,e unity of Muslims under one Muslim leader, is a much needed requisite for Muslims these days. At many points Engineer sb was gone speechless and he just changed the topic and qaisar Raja sb was an amazing and tolerant person that I have ever seen, even Engineer sb did not let him speak much but qaisar's questions have explained a lot of wisdom. May Allah protect us all.

Although Qaiser sir has pushed some really hard questions indeed, but I guess he should've resisted more on them but I understand as it was not a debate but a podcast. QAR has done a very great job. Ma Shaa Allah!! As for Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza, I might be wrong but I think he has very cleverly dodged every question Qaiser Sir asked. Question was about Secularism and Engineer sir somehow dragged it into sectarianism as he always does unfortunately. The most funniest part of the whole podcast is "Islamic Secularism" this is similar to using the terms like "Islamic Atheism", "Islamic Christianity", which makes no sense ofcourse, as both of these terms contradict each other and to say that I have my own definition of secularism, this is not right. You can't use any popular term and then give it your own interpretation.

Ali Bhai has appeared in several podcasts in recent years but undoubtedly this was best of the best... Mashallah 👍🏻

I have been watching lectures and interviews of Engineer Sahib for sometime now and for the first time I saw him on defensive due to your thoroughly researched and highly articulated questions. Kudos for such an incredible interview.

Both of them are golden assets of Islamic Ummah but Mirza sahab is shining 🌟 more in this podcast. The difference of opinion between intellectuals is beneficial for reasoning to evolve. The critical questions of Raja sahab were much necessary for our better understanding of the thoughts of Mirza sahab. Eventually the best podcast (as per my knowledge) of Mirza sahab where same old questions were not repeated. Love them both. ❤

I have watched Qaiser Ahmed Raja's podcast with Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza, Qaiser bhai asked very good questions. If I had met the Engineer Sahib, I would have asked almost the same questions. Qaiser Bhai was trying to talk about something intellectual but Engineer Sahib was in the same mood "I don't know the question but Sectarianism (فرقہ واریت) is the answer". I know sectarianism (فرقہ واریت) is the biggest problem of the Ummah (I also face it almost on a daily basis) but many things are yet to be discussed. And some extremist Hindus in India who use the video of Engineer Mohammad Ali Mirza to defend themselves. Sir, discuss this topic again, if you can speak for 2 hours on Maulana of another Sect, then discuss it at least once. Qaiser Ahmed Raja was trying to convince Ali bhai to talk about this but the Engineer sahib did not take it seriously. Note: This is my opinion, you can agree or disagree with it.

Sahab from his earlier days on RU-vid and I really like his stance against the divide of Muslims ummah into sects but on the other hand there are some serious issues where Ali bhai needs to be called out such as speaking about issues he has no knowledge about like politics, secularism and liberalism as we have seen him previously taking a soft approach on Nupur Sharma a hardcore Islamophobe from the fascist party of India, BJP who does a blasphemy on a Live Tv against our Prophet (s.a.w). He also have some flawed ideas about secularism as well. And finally there is a podcast where an intellectual and a knowledgeable person like Qaiser Raja asking him some hard hitting questions and making him a little hesitant for the first time in his Podcast.

Literally, I had never seen a movie without skipping some of the parts but the way this podcast proceeded with Solid Questions by Qaisr Raja, I did not skip even a second of the whole video. Undoubtedly on the other hand the guest Mirza Ali showed good defense that's much appreciated. People need clarification about these types of things, especially Religion. I want to say this was the need of the hour and all the questions were arousing in masses that have been discussed here. Very much appreciation.

I rarely do comment on any social media and I am helpless to stop myself from commenting on this video. I have been watching Engg sahab since many years and was very much interested in earlier stages when he used to explain and discuss about fiqhi differences on particular topic and leave it up to his audience to decide which one to follow. But lately I started feeling that he is also putting the audience into a loop like situation where a significant part of his discussion is only to prove his stance and denouncing the already established and accepted answer to particular jurisprudence which ultimately is making him like one of the hardcore proposers of current divisions. After listening to engg sahab for a very long time, I can feel the difference in myself and people around who have started hating the moulvis and completely being ignorant towards their contribution in our society, be it on salah, janaza or any other daily matters. Qaisar Ahmed Raja sahab, I just love the way you expressed and stood firm to your grounds and the way you have agreed to disagree. Much Love QAR sahab.❤

I think extremism is not necessarily a byproduct of poverty and by extension sectarianism as well. Militant liberalism in the world is an intellectual and ideological warfare that has grounds in defending its perpetuity and susteinance of power and authority. Pakistan is also coming to realize the multi faceted nature of extremist tendencies in view of the BLA attacks particularly, a female suicide bomber. I appreciate you, Qaiser, that you have managed to regroup a minority of youth who perhaps believes that our cure to prevailing atheism, secularism and liberal values is through installation of a Caliphate, but it is equally important to discuss what constitutes a Caliphate and Sharia. But here in lies the larger cancer that on every matter of law and punishment, morality, rights and duties etc, we have different perspectives and each of them not only reject the other but criminalize them for their difference of opinion and each borrow their own view of the other and themselves through their selective interpretation. Besides, it is not neccessarily the credit of Pakistani society that it has not let any terrorist brand of Shariat rule over it, the company at the top of the power hierarchy in our country has an ostensible religious outlook but a very Machiavellian interest in self-preservation and an invasion from the bearded company is as blasphemous to them as Engr is to the sects. Besides, from a Caliphate point of view, we are not even used to subscribing to the european innovation of linguistic-ethnic nationalism, therefore what good would a Caliphate do for Islam that is not recognized by Muslims outside the Pakistani boundaries. Similarly, it may sound appealing that the young affiliated with you are of the view that we can conceal our differences while mutually paving the way for a Caliphate, but that only remains effective until you have to decide upon its actuality rather its idealization because as long as no one is willing to accept that they can be wrong, you will never have conclusive debates even if the Parliament transforms into the Ijtehad Council that Iqbal suggested. It is a far sight where your clerk is also well equipped with worldly sciences because at the moment, we don't even have a manual for Islamic Economic System besides generic principles but that is not how systematic designs are produced that lay the framework of institutional working guidelines. Not to mention, our demographics are pretty divisive and diverse, we have equal strength of youth who is mechanically conditioned under sectarian worldviews that put "the other's" on a criminal pedastial, not necessarily out of poverty but within ideological frame and this is most true among the best of Shias and the best of Wahabis, and now thanks to TLP even among the Barelvis, for them it is a domain of absolute truth. It is regressive and helplessly appeasing from your part to discount the sectarian damage in Ummah and practicing religion because ultimately the same has brought more shame to Islam as a religion, against which misinterpreted clips of Engr have a negligent impact. The sectarian mindset forces a monopoly on religious domain and it refuses change from its institutional boundaries even at the cost of true religion and the moment you come across them as a threat, you will no longer be welcome either. You should not appease the regressive, selfish, idol-worshippers(the sects who present humans as larger than life superheroes and invest more into their praise rather religion itself are idol-worshippers in my view) because the enemies then get to point a finger, because that finger only exists and already exists because of them and this is no justification to turn a blind eye to the internal termites because by doing that, you own their crimes and aid them instead of correcting them. Your cause against western worldviews and Engr's cause against realigning towards the true mold of Islam are not mutually exclusive and at odds, because once you achieve what you are in the pursuit for; then you will still have to deal with the hydra headed problem of installing Islam that has 72 faces and each different, opposite, and against eachother on matters that are non-negotiateable and you can't just leave them be as domains of private matter, because the foremost challenge is even who gets to be the Caliph and while whoever has more numbers may win, that would take away the legitimacy of the Caliphate only in view of the others. The way a democratic society preceeds a democratic state and governance; the same way an Islamic Society is a pre-requisite for an Islamic State and therefore you need Engr to condition the people to let go off their fabricated and restrictive identities of being a Deobandi, Barelvi, Shia, Wahabi and you want them to be Muslims so that they will pick their Khalifa not owing to their affiliation with their clan but on basis of principles, as I am of the view that fans only idealize their heroes and not criticize them or hold them accountable. Only a Muslim can help prevent a Caliphate from turning into a Totalitarian Regime, and you need 220Mn Muslims before you can have a Islamic State for them. PS: I'd like to know what is it you do and if I have any eligibility to play my role in it as well, I couldn't think of any better occupation that serves our Deen. I also think it was not necessary to impose that if Engr had endorsed a select tenet of any ideology, it implies that he has endorsed it in its entirety; one may even endorse one aspect of an atheistic worldview without agreeing with their fundamental worldview; I also think you already knew that Engr does not agree with secularism that divorces State and Religious Morality and reduces it to a private act of worship but somehow for the sake of bringing up a debate, you treated him as if he does endorse such a larger ideology when he clearly doesn't and there is nothing wrong with appreciating a select tenet which is as of this moment commonly practiced and associated with only secular liberal states and not Iran or Saudi. This discourse would've been more qualitative if he was not put into a corner to explain the obvious that he doesn't endorse the church and state distinction by principle. Similarly, the same way it is possible to endorse select tenets of Socialism and find any parallels in Islamic History while maintaining that both are not necessarily their equivalent counterparts and such comparison need not neccessarily mean any endorsement for the crimes of Stalin and Mao, after all we too hide behind the excuse that it is not Islam when Al Qaeda, ISIS kill civilians and we hide behind the excuse that it is not Islam when Muslims plundered Indian subcontinent and all the crimes of Muslim Monarchs (whom we unnecessarily consider Caliphate and invite the world to look at their crimes and equate them with Islam and malign the religion) since Mauviya til Abdul Hamid of Ottomans. In Hegellian sense, human consciousness has evolved and now this linguistic-geographic-ethnic nationalism and identity is a bulwark against Pan Islamist Caliphate, until we are a Muslim Ummah, there can be no Islamic State under 1 man as long as the zero sum enmity among factions exist, and while the young in your club may think it is possible to rise above sectarian boundaries; they will all be at eachothers throat when the Khalifa recites the Shahadat and either adds Ali un Waliullah or omits it; when the Khalifa enters a select Pir's Grave and bows down to it; when the Khalifa acknowledges a select Pir in his speeches; and I am not even discussing the numerous rifts that will come when deliberating on matters of law.

Qaiser is a frustrated and hypocrite personality, forcing engineer to speak ill towards India and spread hatred .But engineer saheb is a very good personality ,he countered this hypochlorite brilliantly. Engineer saheb is practical person, and knows that what pakistan's actual problem is,and that is radicalism.

Engineer sahib has a practical prospect. Qaiser sahib has more of the idealistic islamic prospect good for academics but not implement able. Overall as expected both of them are the blessings for whole of the ummah

After listening to the whole podcast I can conclude that Ustad Qaisar has scrutinized engineer Sahab very lightly and Wallahi engineer Sahab is very far from Faham and has no in-depth understanding of Islam. He thinks Islam is only confined to a few books while neglecting the humongous legacy of scholarship in a different field. He takes everything literally and at face value and sorry to say his arrogance and attitude of self-glorification is a very big issue, he gives every intellectual perspective a sectarian approach and he thinks he is the only solution without realizing it. Engineer Sahab brings scholars as his subject of criticism in a very rude and pseudo-intellectual way and propagates misinterpretation, confusion, and doubts among Muslim youth making them disaffected from genuine legacy-based scholars or scholarship in exchange for his self-centered interpretation of the Quran and Sunnah and attempting to invite youth to validate and embrace his interpretation of Islam i.e., the Quran and Sunnah and dubious legacy which seems to be intentional. The major part of his contribution is the same as mentioned above and the true nature of it is to neglect the whole humongous legacy of giant scholarships in many different fields of Deen and create a very authoritative and autocratic shape of interpreted Islam which is very feeble, confined and limited within literalist dogmatism while it is not and gives a sort of permission to individual intervention in doing an interpretation of Islam i.e., Quran and Sunnah which is very dangerous and chaotic. He still needs to learn a lot especially the Faham of Deen.

As an Indian Muslim, I am disappointed that Engineer Mirza is not concerned with avoiding giving talking points to the Hindutva terrorist organizations like RSS! He says he is not a liberal , but he has the “yeh to Pakistan mein bhi hota hai” attitude for every atrocity against the Muslims in India!
