I enjoy watching your reviews. Very detailed and great reviews on personal feelings on your models. Even though they're lengthy reviews, they're well structured and everything moves smoothly. Kudos to you both and I look forward to all your upcoming content you have for us viewers!
Great video my people 🤓 I just got my brand new AUTOart KOENIGSEGG One:1 on White with red trim, and man! I am not happy!!😐 I’m a longtime AUTOart collector and this one is a big disappointment to me, right rear wheel won’t turn, carbon fiber on roof was scuffed, and there’s a smudge on inside the windshield that I cannot even cleaned off! the whole car felt flimsy as hell... I paid 280 bucks for this, and man, save your money and skip this one!!
Sorry to hear that! As we mentioned in the video, quality control was really tricky with this model. Definitely recommend inspecting a model at a brick-and-mortar store before picking one up! Buying online is always a gamble.
Just thought i’d mention it, in the engine bay review i believe you said the rear wheel arches should be carbon fibre, i looked this up and actually,on the real car, the arches are not carbon fibre. Still would look cool if it was carbon fibre. Also they may have used a textured carbon fiber as its cheaper than printing decals and i will say autoart is cutting some corners with these composite models so, i would not find it a stretch if they used it to cut production price and srill make us pay loads for the model. Overall i love this model , biased because i love autoart & koenigsegg one 1 is my fav car, still think they could have changed some stuff on the model. Great review of the car! 👍👍
Thanks for the comment, we're really pleased that people are listening to what we say! :) You are absolutely right; no carbon fibre in the rear arches on the actual car. Also agree on the somewhat disappointing direction that Autoart has taken; let's hope things get better in time!
Very nice review very fair! I’m looking forward to see the review from the AA 1/18 Mercedes Benz G63 the new one just came out please and thanks again for your great job !
We noticed that several model review vids on RU-vid were just too "nice" in terms of comments; we wanted to buck the trend! ;) Kevin maybe adding the G63 to his collection; keep an eye out for it!
If you are looking at it from a value/dollar perspective, we'd say go for it. The Koenigsegg should be worth significantly more than the Aventador J. That being said, go for the model that you like!
Yea, we all miss the days of full diecast, but we all know that Autoart is sticking with composite. Yes, there are other great model manufacturers that do models in diecast, but they don't necessarily have the same exciting lineup of brands that Autoart replicates.
