Upbringing by parents - It has nothing to do with professionalism Parents can't teach you - "How to be a professional" in whatever job you have. It's a skill 'how to be professional' and you have to learn it and apply yourself. Society - I agree to an extent but I wouldn't say the 'society' rather I would say Country. India is a professional country (Not 100%, India has a long way to go as well in 'professionalism') in most businesses, jobs, any industries including movies, cricket etc., so despite of Shami being 'uneducated', it's easy for him to look up to other people and be professional at his job, day to day life etc. On the other hand, Pakistan is a little behind than India in terms of 'Professionalism' in stuff. As Pakistan gets more educated, professionalism will follow automatically. I am sure Pakistan will progress a lot on 5/10/15 years in terms of 'professionalism' in their stuff.
