@@luisbarrera5740 Now I have the Engl 2x12 V. with 2 new Celestion G12-T75 Speaker. Perfekt for me at Home friendly Volume. For Band Setup with a Metal Monster Drummer , maybe The V 30 better choice. The V 30 at Home Volume I dont Like.
@@Degrinder if you wants a better version of the v30; try the WGS Retro 30 speaker. There's V2.0 and the Veteran30. Both get confused for the Retro 30 which is the improved V30 clone. They removed the harsh midspike. It sounds so good that when I recorded my cab, when played back in a recording it literally sounded exactly the same as when you hear it live from the can. No processing was applied either
@@luisbarrera5740I agree the Veteran 30 is far better than a V30. I have a Veteran 30 and Reaper HP in a 212 cab and a 212 cab with v30s and don’t even play the v30 loaded cab. Been sitting around for like a year 😂 Alsso have a Redback in a 112 and it’s the best speaker I’ve ever had!

Nice vid man, love your set up. Fireball is one of the few amps i want. The Fireball, a JCM 800 mini, and call me crazy but a Rivera KR-7, and my life is complete! A few more pedals here and therea hot mod tube thingy for the JCM 800 an im set amp wise

G12T-75s aren't terrible speakers for metal, they get a bad wrap an I'm a speaker snob. When cranked really hard those G12T-75s come to life. At lower volumes they sound really muddy, dull, lacking in the mids, and a muffled high-end. They do have kind of a scooped mid thing and lots of low end when cranked, a really kind of thrash metal sound that I really like actually. Celestion says that the G12T-75s are a 75 watt version of their Green Backs, I don't know about that 🤷🏻♂️. I've played Green Back cabs but not through my set up to know, I kind of want a green back cab though. For cleans the G12T-75s are really awesome that and blues or slightly gained up clean, or rock, lower gain sort of stuff.
For me the Speaker is a Allrounder. I Play the Speaker with a Ironball , Jvm 410 and finally with the Fireball. For me the perfekt Speaker. I Play the V30 in a Engl 2x12 and the honky midharsh Sound fucked me Up. Mabe better in a Band Mix but Not for me at Home
Your master volume is very low. You should get a power attenuator, it's good to use at least a 3rd of master volume with high gain tube amps. With the attenuator you get those tonal characteristics without blowing your roof off 👍🏻
Powersoak onboard 😉. Modern High gain Power Amps are more Clean Design only to make it louder. The preamp ist the tone forming Part of this Amp . The powersoak i only use with Cabloader and Headphones.
