in that cm role, he's england's best and most talented pick. trent has played there a handful of times, i don't know why everyone is putting him in the midfield conversation and out of the rb conversation@@mandipleihal7052
@@franklinclinton6313spread watkins a little wider and put Foden in the midfield with Bellingham. Hes said multiple times in interviews and such for both England and City that he prefers playing centrally, and it allows him to be more of a goalscoring threat with his dominant foot
IT's not that Palmer isn't good, it's that the England midfield is utterly stacked. You could field 2 or 3 different midfields with the amount of choice there. the real problem is up front. Without Kane it is scary how lacking England are, and he is 30 now. He has 2, maybe 3 more tournements left in him and Aside Greenwood (who will now NEVER be picked) England have no replacements.
Everyone’s going to hate but I really like mainoo rice Bellingham as a mf 3. So much energy, they can all play box to box, they’re all a goal threat and look forward.
Agreed Mainoo should get his chance proved himself so many times in the Prem this season and had the whole ‘INCREDIBLE’ Liverpool midfield in his pocket and he’s so casual. Should get his chance with Rice and Bellingham.
No you're right, that's a balanced midfield that actually works. You're wasting Rice and Bellingham's attacking potential if you play Foden in midfield, rather than Mainoo who tracks back. Foden can be part of the front 3, and combine with Chilwell on the left.
@@noorulhasan4904the same Mainoo that pocketed Liverpool and man of the match in his first starting game against Belgium. Learn to watch football, kid.
Maybe england can play in a 4-3-3 attack where the defense is same as his in midfield declan rice, bellingham, phill foden/cole palmer at CAM the attack is same except at LW phill foden/cole palmer can play
No no if they start with 4-2-4 the midfield area will be too vulnerable. No matter what kind of players they have it is not a good idea to just have 2 in the midfield. On the ball they will be fine but off the ball it will be very difficult. You can argue the wingers may track back but still it will not be enough.
GK- Matt Turner LB - Antonee Robinson CB- Tim Ream CB- Chris Richards RB- Sergino Dest CDM- Johnny Cardoso CM- Weston Mckennie CM- Yunus Musah LW- Christian Pulisic ST- Folarin Balogun RW- Giovanni Reyna
@@KLAY2011 Oh yeah probably Tim Weah over Reyna. But Tyler Adams has been injured for almost a year and Johnny Cardoso has been good so far in La Liga. If Tyler is actually fit and still has the rhythm, then he'll start, otherwise it's Johnny for me
You could field 2 maybe 3 effetive midfields from the pool available to England right now. It's utterly insane how much Talent is there. Defensivly there is a decent selection but not as much. Up front is where we start seeing problems. Without Kane is is scary how lacking England are for finishing Talent. Greenwood was the obvious replacement but that ship set sail and Watkins is alright but nowhere near Kanes level and is only a couple of years behind him. Its honesly scary how vulnurable England are without Kane leading the charge, the only real talented striker to replace him will literally never get picked now and there isn't really anyone else on that level.
In reality we will probably see Kyle walker right back, Henderson CM and Sterling LW - Southgate doesn’t go off form or talent just players he has played in the past
@PecheFootball I may think of a 3-4-3 formation for England , as Trent , Walker , Chilwell are best at wing back positions . It also allows more effective press and better attacking transitions . As seen in Inter Milan , Leverkusen this season Foden. Kane. Palmer(better form) [Rashford , Watkins , Saka on bench] Belligol(Maddison on bench) CAM Chilwell. Rice. Trent LWB. CDM RWB Stones. Maguire. Walker(as seen in mancity) CB (Subs for CB : Youth like colwill , konsa)
I think mainoo rice and Bellingham as I think mainoo just gives something different in the midfield and what can’t he do we surely have to win the euros with our squad
Walker will start at RB, definitely the best all-round in that position on form (given James's injury and Trent's defensive problems). And Mainoo now has a real chance of starting in midfield. Watkins might not even make the squad, Toney played well against Belgium.
If I were england's manager, here's how the lineup would be like Lw- Phil foden St- Harry Kane Rw- Bukayo Saka Midfield- Cm- Jude Bellingham Cdm- Declan Rice Cm- Cole Palmer Defense- Lb- Chilwell Cb- John stonss Cb- Harry Maguire 🐐 Rb- TAA or Kyle walker Gk- pickford
3-2-4-1 which changes to 5-4-1 with Trent /rice dropping deeper into RB/CB or 3-4-3 with Gallagher/bellingham dropping deeper in CDM to help out defensively when out of possession Pickford Walker stones shaw Trent Rice Palmer Bellingham Gallagher foden Kane This team would easily win euros as it’s balanced team
They literally played the whole qualification with a 4231: Pickford Shaw (now chilwell), stones, magguire and trent Rice and philips Foden bellingham saka Kane
bro where is Kyle Walker. He should be starting as a RB with Trent in the midfield with Rice and Bellingham. The attacking trio will be Saka at RW, Kane as ST and Foden at LW. I prefer Tomori over Maguire at CB.
I know Trent would be a beast in midfield but I think foden is wasted on that wing need him at the CAM CM position possibly Trent on the wing n Walker RB.. with kobbie as a reserve CM
