The second part of our Yorkshire adventure and this time we get to sample the local pubs and also see the largest single drop waterfall in England! Hawes continues to impress as we explore more of the town and delightful local shops.
Join us this week as we continue our stay at the C&MC Hawes site and in this second part of the video we explore Hardraw Force Waterfall.

I can beat that winter purchase; I had a diesel heater fitted lol. We love it toasty and a 15tog teddy bear quilt :) Great vlog.

You looked like you had a great time despite the weather, Caroline must have the patience of a saint, no way Mrs K would stand around waiting for photography and drone footage to be taken. Food looked good in the pub and that last beer looked great, reminded a little of Old Peculiar. I'm surprised Ian ever left the creamery with all that cheese & beer. Cheers K.

Ha ha 😂 it definitely took some persuading to leave - the beer was really good, all very local too so less travelled. The drone is only allowed out every few trips, you are so right 😂👍

Glad you enjoyed your trip to Hawes, Its one of our favourite places to visit because We live just down the road between Chaple-le-Dale and Ingleton and Love walking with our two dogs. The water falls are a site to see after a good down pour 😀

Hi guys , many happy memories of Hawes on holiday with parents as a kid , staying B&B on a working farm at the lovely Muker near by, over the Buttertubs pass. Still keep coming back decades later. If you want a great hidden gem off the beaten track check out Kisden falls at Keld though definitely a tight squeeze for you on the approach roads. Keep up the great content!

Hawes is a great site and you managed some nice things/trips while there despite the weather. The waterfall is wonderful - I went by bike not on foot 😂. Heres to the next one, Thanks guys 👍

Great video, we were there last year, and it rained everyday but stilled loved the place and site. We are due back in April 23, hoping to get to the falls this time.

Hey guys, brill video, Hawes is just fantastic, as is the whole of that area. Shame about the weather, but hey, its winter and the north east lol. Will have to arrange a meet up next year, would love Tyler to see Mollie and be lovely to see you both again 🙂 The White Hart Inn is just lovely, we were sat in the very same seats as you when we went, lovely pub. Ah that's brilliant in the pub! Ha ha same seats 🤣 be good to catch up again, winter camping is great fun, less busy and dressed for the weather not too bad. Hope music volume was better this week we tried something new with the sound 🙂👍

Glad you got to the White Hart and enjoyed the food ( a bit nervous recommending it). Next time try the Trio of Rhubarb desert it’s the best. I was fascinated by Ian’s cap, is it an antique? 😉😂 Thanks for the video another good one 👍🏻

You know us very well Ann, the pub was perfect and a great recommendation thank you 🥰 We did want puddings but it was very busy so we headed back to the van for cheese and biscuits 😂 Iain's hat is fashionable apparently 🙄 Not sure everyone would agree with that though 😂 thanks again for your help 😁

Doesn't matter whether editing was a blue job or pink job!! .... this video must have taken an awful lot of effort and time to put together, and the result was a truly awesome video. I (and I am sure that everyone) appreciates all your hard work ... looking forward to the next one. Did Caroline say "should have gone to Spain!" .... but the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain ..... and you would have missed the spectacular water falls and great Yorkshire scenery. Great to see the beer reviews were back in anger ... hope Iain saved some beers for home!

Like always another great video. It’s so easy to love you guys. I think I am similar to Iain and come back with lots of non pre approved goodies from the shop, but Clare enjoys them none the less. Hi both…could you comment on sleeping in the pop top in winter….have you had to buy/make any additional insulation mods to make it comfortable?

Hi Stephen, no just standard for our van, we put the heating on before bed so it warms the pop top slightly as the hot air rises. We have a mattress topper and just take our standard Duvet and pillows from home. Caroline has an extra blanket for her feet when very cold 😂 the coldest night so far was -1c and we were fine 👍

Hello Alan, yes sure, it was the Caravan & Motorhome Club site Hawes (Brunt Acres Rd, Hawes DL8 3PS) - a really lovely site walkable into Hawes, wouldn’t hesitate to return 👍😊
