Great job and nice video. It’s an amazing walk. I loved it. I’m definitely re-visiting some of those North Devon and North Cornwall sections from a cottage base!

Hello Andy. I've watched all 12 episodes. You are a glorious inspiration. Thank you for this. I'm on the fence about spending 8 days on the Southwest Coast or West Highland Way (Scotland). I want to wild camp all 8 days so I think I'm limited to the Highlands... or do you think I can get away with Southwest coast wild camping (Land's End to Falmouth)?
Keian, thanks for your kind words. Whilst wild camping is not as easy on the SWCP as it would be on the WHW, plenty of people still do it. Are you on Facebook? If so, there is a group on there that is well worth joining. Currently, a chap by the name of Graham Eaves is doing the whole path for a third time and on this occasion is trying to wild camp the whole way around. As far as options between Lands End and Falmouth, I would suggest it will be fairly easy to find somewhere, as it is a fairly remote section. The biggest problem I had was finding a place to camp near to a water source. I didn’t want to carry lots of water, but I needed lots to replenish lost fluids due to excessive sweating. You might not need so much water!
Fantastic video series! I really appreciated the 'relive' app summary of each section. You seem to be doing all this hiking alone. Do you prefer it that way?
Hi Leslie, thanks for you appreciation. Yes I generally prefer to walk on my own, so that I can walk at my pace and stop when I want or race through bits if I want. However, after a week or so, I met up with Steve & Anna who were also doing the whole path. Our itineraries were quite similar, so more often than not, I got to chat to them most days either at lunch or in the evening, which was a great way of reviewing or planning.
