Yes I remembered seeing your video from there a while back when we was there it's changed a little since then someone tried to start a fire inside stupidly so they painted the inside with lovely fire retardant paint
Always a spot ive fancied staying there pal..first visited it when I camped at High Pike years ago I'd gone past to gunner well for water..been back since & also called in passing doing the CW last year..always nicely kept & clean which is nice to see & the thought in the metal sheet lined cooking area & candle holders.. I'll be calling in again this year as planning doing CW again & like you say could be a poss overnight stop.. Nice one luke tfs..Andy..
Nice one Andy, the log book had some notes in about recent renovations the hit is now painted with a sage fire retardant paint due to someone trying to start a fire in there a few weeks back ?! Looks great its well managed and whoever works on it should be proud ! Definitely worth poking your head in on the CW ! atb 👌🏻
