Scotland have been ultra consistent for over a decade - No World Cup 2002, 2006, 2010 or 2014, No European Championship 2000, 2004, 2008 , 2012. And even if they did get there they'd crash out in the Group Stages to someone like New Zealand or San Marino. A proud record of awesome consistency from the Scots.

I am English and I read all of the hating from the scots.When England play in world cups it is actually well documented that the scots will wear the shirts of englands opposition and support any team that plays England.a sad state of affairs really considering the effort that Scotland goes to for any reason to cheer against England. and the fact that the English do not even give jockland a second thought is comical.maybe insignificant Scotland should stop obsessing what England are doing and concentrate on their own game and who knows by some miracle they may even qualify for a tournament.

I'm definitely a Scotland fan but I'm not even that bothered cause Rickie Lambert is just quality.

I'm a proud Scot, campaigning for independence; but I enjoy watching England play and wish them well in tournaments. I harbour no ill feeling toward them. It's football, guys! Just a bunch of blokes kicking a ball about. Keep perspective! Hate gets us nowhere. I love my nation, I love my team, but I accept that England are - and should be - better at the game. A bigger nation, a better league, and players from arguably the best league in the world. I look forward to the rematch in Glasgow this year and to a great game with an amazing atmosphere. I'm Scottish but England played well as we did have the league twice and England did level and then win the game but what a performance from Scotland! We played very well, a lot of positives from this game and since this game our form has improved so much. I look forward to another England-Scotland game.

That they seem to think that they are England's biggest rival, When most Englishman could not give a shit. The same with the Welsh and Irish as well. England's greatest rivals are Germany and Argentina always has and always will be.

He gets limited play for Scotland to,our midfield does not pick itself.Brown is probably the only guy we have there that will start every game,as he is powerful and has the running covers every blade of grass and puts the tackles in and is a leader

I agree, would actually allow a decent pool of players for selection. I mean the population size of all the nations in the UK aren't big enough alone to yield a really good team. But if you were to mix players from the whole of the UK may have a better chance in competitions!

And I look forward to playing Belgium the morra night.When I can see how far we have come,or how far we need to reach.As they are the third most expensive national side in the world,and have players we would dream of.Even starting on the bench,so happy the SFA has copied there system right down to the letter.Give us five or six years,and we hope to have the same kind of talent again.What a team they have,and only have a population of just under 11 million,almost the population of London.

Forgot young Grant Hanley at Blackburn Rovers,who will play centre half.Who was outstanding against Croatia,still learning the game bound to get better.Pretty sure that will be the team,maybe he will keep McGregor as he is in form at Hull City in the top flight.Anything can change though with injuries,and players losing there places.It will be like playing a different team for America,was at the last game in Glasgow that finished 1 1.Brown came off the bench for his first cap and scored offside.

Adam had the best passing record according to pro zone when Blackpool were in the Prem for a British player.So actually Adam in that good,just as good as anybody you have a passing.And we had Mulgrew on the bench to,who can take even better set pieces than Adam.Rhodes is our poacher six yard penalty box striker,the new Kris Boyd.With a bit more about him,like being a harder worker,and looks stronger like he can play up front alone.Miller did as proud though nobody wanted him to start the game.

Coltraine best work was Tuti Fruiti,made in Scotland.And made him the star he is,its his most cherished work according to him.

And the guy that could have done that for us sat on the bench in Charlie Adam,who must have lacked match fitness or something.One off the best passers off a ball in England.Also Fletcher is more than a poacher that is why he can play wide left,he had great first touch and control and links up really well back to front with midfield,and brings others into the game.And tracks back shuts people down works really hard,quality in the air and with his feet.Brown and D Fletcher would be in the system.

We have plenty off players on the bench,who could come on and do something.Many play in the English top flight that do not get a chance,guys like Graham Dorrans at WBA.Even on the wings we have plenty off options,guys like Snodgrass,Naismith,Conway all playing there to.Why could they not change a game for us,if Snodgrass comes off or wee Forest?Even the boy Frazer is starting games at Bournemouth and doing really well.And should push to get a start soon,like Gary Mackay Steven and Russell at D.C

Yes it does describe the football played at the time,you would know that if you knew anything about the game.When Sheffield played they could pick the ball up,it was only later the rules were changed.Like taking throw ins,instead of kicking it back into play.Edinburgh played the same football as they did.
