England Women train at St George's Park ahead of Sweden Euro 2025 qualifier

England trained on Thursday morning at St George’s Park as Sarina Wiegman’s side prepare to kick off their Euro 2025 qualifying campaign.
The Lionesses host Sweden at Wembley on Friday evening in their opening match, before heading to Dublin four days later to face the Irish at the Aviva Stadium.
Captain Leah Williamson took part in the session despite coming off halfway through Arsenal’s 1-0 Conti Cup win over Chelsea on Sunday.
The defender has not played for England for over a year following an ACL injury that ruled her our out of last year’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

I echo that of others, Beanyman you a disgrace with regards the to thumbnail. The women deserve respect which is something you clearly have none of. Even though I don't like the women's football so much, you may know that the Lionesses England will do the better job in this qualifiers, despite being played in a tough group with France and Sweden, who were still in Top 10 of FIFA Women's Rankings. Sweden were still a good team, despite England battered them 4-0 in the Euro 2022 semifinal. They won the bronze medal of the last World Cup. France, on the other hand, had several players from Lyon and Paris Saint Germain and could be a major threats for England. They reached the Women's Nations League Final, where they lost to Spain. Wembley Stadium and Aviva Stadium might be a perfect opportunity for English players to enjoy a good football atmosphere. Not to mention, they will be hosting the Champions League and Europa League Finals this year, respectively, and we still had a prospect that Manchester City or Arsenal in the Champions League and Liverpool in the Europa League will win the big prize there.
