She also said in her other ASMR videos that when she lived here in the Philippines her friends gave her the nickname Soy, but since her friends still find her name to be difficult, they jokingly call her "Toyo" which means Soy Sauce in english. 1 name, different meanings in many languages 😄
Some ASMR audiences actually prefer the "imperfections" of an accent and the different speech patterns, vocabulary choices, and idioms that can come along with it.
I hardly watch american amsr artists. I like the accents more, specifically korean. Though, I've been a big fan of korea for 11 years and that might have something to do with it. It's just a beautiful language to me. That, and irish. Also a culture I've loved since like birth. I'm going to assume now, that the asmr artist you like are a reflection of your interests and personalities

I love how you allowed for some time to just apply the lashes in silence, and letting the delicate sounds and your concentration on the work be the focus. Watching someone work on something silently and with so much focus on the details is one of my main triggers, which i don’t see happen too often. And of course even when you’re talking, it’s very soothing and comforting too. This was a great balance of talking and no-talking combo!!! Thanks for all your effort!! ❤️
your English is so amazing!! the accent though makes it more enjoyable for some reason though. I find it very wholesome and relaxing when people who dont have an American accent speak English haha
I’m currently studying abroad in Korea and it’s been super hard honestly and lonely and since I’m always homesick I’ve had some trouble sleeping but with your videos I’ve been able to sleep peacefully and feel like I have one friend here hehe

I recommend getting a lash lift. Not as dramatic as lash extensions but it definitely makes a difference (especially if you put mascara on lifted lashes - looks almost like extensions) and because you only have to get them done every 8 weeks or so it’s more cost effective imo!! I used to be a lash extension addict and got sick of spending $80+ every 2-3 weeks
