The Carnival of the Two Shores is a major cultural event that highlights the richness and diversity of African cultures. This year, the participating groups offered varied artistic representations to celebrate the diversity of the African continent.
The parade was animated by rhythmic choreography, colorful costumes and traditional dances. The different groups presented tableaux vivants representing the traditions and customs of African countries, thus offering spectators a journey through this continent rich in history and traditions. We could also see groups from Bolivia, Peru and Martinique who enchanted the audience with their dances, their songs and their magnificent costumes.
The Bordeaux carnival is taking a new turn this year with the introduction of more environmentally friendly floats.
This carnival was created in 1996 at the initiative of the Bordeaux municipality and associations keen to develop artistic activities and learning which enable social cohesion and which bring together disadvantaged populations and student populations. and artistic companies.
