I have almost an advanced level so for me both of you have a very clear accent. If you haven't put the subtitules I woudn’t have understood everything but I’d have understood most of the conversation. Anyway, I would say that it’s always more difficult to understand an audio that a video (even without subtitules). The gestures are everything in a conversation. This kind of videos are great to improve our listening, please, could you upload more like this one? Thanks.

How to get subtitles for this video please
@user-rc2le2mq4u
@user-rc2le2mq4u Год назад
 @mohammed saleh If you want to copy the subtitles, then you need to click on the three dot menu in the bottom left hand corner under the video, then click "open transcript" and you can see and copy there the transcript for the whole video. If you want to see the subtitles while watching the video, just click on the captions icon

As a 14 year old french,my teacher told me that year I had a c1-c2 level,trust me the so ingnificant fact that I understand every word and that I got some developped vocabulary and a Californian accent is really gratifying,I have never experienced such a feeling like this,the feeling where you achieved something even adults couldn't. A very useful video, really. I've striven following with no subtitles: it's been quite difficult but I was able to focus on the conversation. The main difference from a frontal lesson it's that in this case you have used a lot of connected speech and idioms and these are the turning points from a basic level language skills to a good fluency and a grasp of the language expendable in a real conversation with a native speaker. Thanks gaain for this video.

It was refreshing to listen and watch an actual natural conversation in English. Some other channels offer that but in reality the speakers in the videos still adjust their speed of talking and speak more slowly than they would in a 'natural' conversation. I hit the 'subscribe' button 2min into your chat because of that! Thanks guys❣️

i went to three different secondary schools in the UK and rule at all three was that phones were banned everywhere on school site. even if you had it out at lunch or break, a teacher could confiscate it. the only time you were allowed to get it out was when school was over for the day, so children could contact parents about getting home. i think your school is the exception rather than the norm for allowing kids to use phones at lunch. i think probably nowadays they're even stricter, as the potential for bullying and safeguarding issues is much higher. my sister works in a school and she says there's been lots of occasions of children photographing others and uploading the photos to social media as a form of bullying. i don't think it's something i would worry about schools not being hot on! as an aside, i love how youtube is recommending this to me despite being a native english speaker from the UK 😅

Your pronunciation is so clear that I understand it better than my native language. I even had to watch the video at 2x speed to add extra difficulty, and also because I got hooked up on the tipping part. The challenge would be hearing people with strong accents, like Irish, Australian, New Castle or Southern States. I've seen that some times even native English speakers struggle to understand those, and if you try being a non-English native, you'll die from either a stroke or your head exploding.

For me is pretty hard to understand in that normal speech but I admire this learning approach.I had repeated many times in every session and pause lots of time to try to memorise and rote the terms and slang. Is that a right manner to learn English as I still figuring out which approach is suit me. Lastly, the video really fascinating and make me laugh which creat a joyful ambience to learn English!Really love it!

I love the qualities you chose as the most important for a person. Especially critical thinking and empathy. I feel that in some cases passion can be dangerous without those two 😤, but as a cherry on top - for sure. It occurred to me that a person is only - not sure how to put it - allowed to act as a real, mature human being when they understand the basics. I also thought of gratitude and appreciation. That was a really pleasant conversation to listen to and a good learning experience. Thank you both. ❤

Generally, the waiter/waitress do not get paid well because of tipping culture. In most countries, it is discretionary but if you can afford it and the service was good, it’s customary to leave a tip.

Regarding phones in schools... interestingly almost everyone looks at it from restricting point of view. Why won't we involve mobile phones into the educational process? We see there is a strond demand from pupils/students... I think teachers must use this keen interest in a positive way. Having games/plays/any other sort of interactions / etc. as part of learning is better than just plain teacher's speech or lecture... I think this is just a matter of developing a new educational program and yes may be having money to invest in it. Sorry for the messy flow of thoughts... you both are stars! 🤩 Thank you for your lessons!!!
