My exam ended up being a lackluster performance cuz I struggled with an unheard and unprepared topic in part 2 speaking test, in part 3 I even choked a bit (tho the questions were quite easy and relatable to a student like me). I guess it came down to my test anxiety. So u guyssss pls be 100% confident and even if u feel like ur prep is not enough (cuz the range of topics needed to be covered are too large), just pretend that u r well prepared and any ques can be crushed and grappled with ease and most importantly, gather ur wits and be 100% relaxed in the test room.

It's rare to see somebody teaching English by speaking English 😅 But it's the best one that has worked for me, I put the subtitles and learn English tips while educating my ear. Thank you for your videos that help so much without pushing to buy an English course. The only thing is that British English is a little different from American English but I still learn

Thanks for the great lesson! In our country we start a conversation by admiring something and complimenting or resenting that thing. Then we talk about the weather, then about the event that brought us together, about the work, if it is similar, etc.

in Myanmar, when people meet each other in a very brief moment on the crossing way, they usually say like " looking nice!, lovely day!, seen (someone) near around here?, where are u going?, ... it all includes dressing styles, weather, something like that.

Normally, we talk about weather and/or an event, where we are currently at. About abstract things which do not require some kind of personal acquaintance or about the person ourself. (I wonder how many errors in my text 🙂).

1:40 - well, when I met a person on the street for the first time, I usually greeting it or say "excuse me" just to draw attention(hope it's not a wrong sentence?😅). And if the person stopped and got ready to listen, I'm talking) But really, I don't like to bother people on the street just to get a conversation. It's often about something specific, for example, ask for the road, or find the address. I think people in our country are too busy to just talking, you know)

Dear Sir, A beautiful presentation on Small talk also revealing that the question tags are higher level of English. Only when involved in teaching conversation, one can see homany phrases, contractions, cses of ellipsis and less standard , idiomatic formulations are required to talk about almost nothing! As a matter of course, small talk is very important for establishing contact, learning unknown or less known people of our keenship, things a binner can hardly manages to perform correctly. In my opinion, an extra, more level oriented small talk would be appreciated by those at lower level of language proficiency. Best regards. Paul, 66, retired teacher of technical English.

I have been to UK many atimes to different cities like London, Lake district,Bath,Edinburgh, weymouth, Leeds, York, just to name few...stayed there for four years in Frimley ,Surrey from 2002 to 2006 I live in karachi, we usually commence chatting by greetings,then introducing ourselves..then studies / work..where do you stay in karachi ..about locality..bit of family like surname siblings ..then some current news and activities happening around ..
