thank you for the video. in my case I've removed some dust and hair from the motor (as per the advise below), tested on 9v battery (even though it gave some real smoke initially...). Applied some silicone to the motor and moving part of laser, and to rubber ring. Disconnected motor and used wd 40 on contacts (as per the advise below:)). and now it is working again. will see how long it will last:). if it breaks again probably will replace the motor. update: next day got the same error. ordered a new motor on Ali express
Thanks for your video, i have followed your instructions plus i cleaned the contacts with kontakt spray to be sure the connection between the motor part and the robot will work properly, the rest of the work i followed your whole plan, and to be sure after all i pressed reset, after all this actions it works nice, so great Thanks for your very good video and instructions
Thanks for the instruction, works now. A tip is to use a normal 9v battery for the kickstart.(like the one in your firealarm). A lot easier than splitting a cable.
Hello all, sorry to say but i think this kick start is nothing to do with the problem. The real cause is the connection between the motor unit ( black) and the pcb connector. Somehow it gets dirty after usage. So just removing the motor unit and pressing back also fix temporary the error. But better to clean the connector both side with for ex. WD-40. ( With a small ear cleaning stick for ex.)
Mine was just stuck, two strands of hair had jammed it. I split the cable but ended up not needing to use it :) The battery didnt look as the one you had so I tried to just restart it after removing the hair and it worked! But great guide to have for deconstructing!🙌
Perfect, this worked! Now I wonder if just disconnecting the LIDAR assembly and then reconnecting it would have helped equally as much. Not sure why would applying 5V to the motor help. If mine throws the error again, I'll test it out.
Det där var en kanonlösning! Tog en annan strömförsörjning dock. Undra varför den stannar? Är det en inbyggd timer för att få oss att köpa reservdelar? Hur som, tack för tipset!
