Thanks for a great video. In your next video on comparing Real to Fakes please include a look at the internal module. Fake watches are everywhere, so videos like this are extremely important and highlight some important features, for e.g. I'm comfortable my DW5600 is genuine but it didn't come with a separate warranty card. A reminder to all watch buyers - keep the packaging and paperwork, keep the receipt, make a note of the serial number (if there is one);

I disagree when you say that the replica is the same technically as the genuine. I'm sure they are not as waterproof or shockproof as the original. Also the battery would be lower quality and the whole thing would break much sooner than the original.

No, the fake one has lower quality in water tight seal, which means the fake case easily gets flooded with steam or water. Also the PCB has much lower quality than the real CASIO PCB. More importantly, the fake watch usually use the cheaper thionyl chloride/Lithium or sulfuryl chloride/Lithium ..... the real problem is after the battery is mostly discharged, the liquid sulfuryl chloride will be reduced to high pressure sulfur dioxide gas; this usually ended up with purging out the highly corrosive electrolyte to the watch PCB and etching the copper wire, lead-free solder on PCB, LCD and the metal parts.

G-shock also makes these models in Japan, Not everything is made in china and not only their high watches are made in Japan, Google it, You will find articles on it. So we can't go off of where its made as a fake. All the other fake details make sense, but not where a watch is produced at.

Wow! They're getting much better. I think you're right... If you didn't have them side by side, I think it would be very difficult to tell the difference unless you looked very very close. That back cover really gives it away though. If they haven't already, it probably won't be long before they're completely indistinguishable.

Bang buka sejarahnya casio edifice donk, saya pengguna jam murahan tersebut. 😀 Tepatnya EFA 122D, penasaran aja gimana bisa muncul edifice, sekaligus review dari kacamata horology gimana. Lagian kan belum pernah diulas lebih jauh. Masa kalah sama merk skmei dan AC yg sudah diulas 😁

Hello mate. I bought a dw5600 (the classical gshock) and on the back it says Made in Thailand. The buckel also says Thailand but it has the warranty card and bar codes. The local dealer says it's original. Do you think it could be fake? All the models I've seen are made in China... thanks

well a lot of casios are made in thailand, maybe they shifted theor production for the dw5600 over there too since producing in china is getting more expensive. i dont think its fake

Yg saya kurang suka dari g shock edisi terbatas, hanya selisih warna dan beberapa detail kecil harga uda jauh beda, padahal mesin sama saja... 😁 marketing berbicara
