Singlish is an English dialect with Southbanvetian 閩南語 aka Hokkien, Cantonese, Teoswanese 潮汕語 aka Teochew, Mandarin, Malay, Tamil influenced (in vocabularies, grammar and accent).

Aku ingat orang singapura ni pandai cakap bahasa orang putih, tapi dia punya tatabahasa tu tunggang langgang.....

OMG This is new to me! I am a mandarin and Cantonese native speaker and English is my second language. It's interesting to see how Singapore people kinda mix Chinese grammar and some tones with English together. And I am not sure if I am right, I can also catch a little India accent mix with it. Just a little bit. The more I learn about Singapore the more I want to visit there!
