@@catherineroseolivar1697 owww.. Hihi. Tbh, that's a difficult question 😅. I'm not quite sure why I pass as well. BUT, what I think it follows the same criteria of what it is to be an ESL tutor. 1) be proffesional (i.e. right equipments, lighting, background, dress code, tone of voice, etc.) 2) make ur answer as simple as possible Answer+Explanation+Example. Use your own words and explain as simple as possible. 3) be organize in your flow of answer 4) maximize the 60 seconds. 5) if ur not sure you can redo but you will be given another question. You only have 20 redos. It would be great not to consume those redos too much. 2 or 3 tries is enough. 😊

i'm glad you made this kind of video mam,so aspirants like me can practice and will know what it looks or feels like on the actual demo,but i was kinda confused because this video was about free conversation but then again you still asked the student if he/she would like a daily lesson/news or go through the free conversation.. is it really done like that during mock demo for free conversation?

Glad to hear this kind of feedback. It means a lot. As for your question, yes, teach. It's necessary to ask what lesson material the student wants. It's part of the spiel. Even during the actual classes, coz even if there is a Student's Remark about what lesson material the student wants to take, during the actual class, there is a need to confirm with the student because sometimes they don't follow what is in the Student's Remark, they would say they forget to update the remarks, sometimes they don't feel using the material during your class, and sometimes the account was not originally his/her it's was from his son/daughter before, or wife/husband or friend. So, it's really crucial to confirm/verify with the student. :)

Question: In answering the automated English test po, is it required to read the questions aloud or kahit sa isip na lang po and when the timer starts deretso sagot na po?

Hi, miss Jastine, yes po, you can answer right away once the timer starts and I suggest to maximize the 60 seconds, make your answer simple and organize. Follow the pattern Answer + Explanation + Example. I have my upload of my Actual Language test, feel free to check it out

Hi, good question. It's a big NO if you copy paste or even say definitions word for word from google. That's one of the main reasons for failing. You should paraphrase it from google or define it by yourself.

Hi, Miss Diane. Technically 15 mins for Free Convo and 15 mins din for Daily News, but base sa mga comments ng mga new applicants, minsan kino combine ng Evaluator sa 15 mins ang free convo at daily news, so prepare nalang din for sudden changes

The lesson itself is given together with the Teacher Guide. But the adlibs/scripts is not given. So really have to practice. You can take notes though and take this demo script as a guide/SOP

Hi, teach. Sa new applicants nowadays, sabi nila, wala ng training. Self-study na po ang training. Tapos if sched na po ng demo ninyo, pag i click nyo yong link na binigay nila, which is Bell bird, yan na mismo ang classroom. Di naman mag dedemo agad, may informal interview lang kunti, like if may questions ka ba. If wala naman, mag iinform na xa na pwede ka na mag start sa demo. Minsan naman, Free Conversation and Daily News ay icocombine lang nila in the whole 15 mins. Kaya always be ready for sudden re arrangement.

Hi. Yes po, ganun po ginagawa ko. Kailangan kasi patapusin mo muna xa bago ka mag correct para di xa mawala sa flow of thought nya. Pwede ka ng mag type while the student is speaking. Then kung ready ka na mag correct, tsaka mo na i send. Baleh i ready mo lang sa chatbox. 😊

Familiarize yourself with the class flow, practice how to define words on your own according to how it was used in the sentence.

Also, don't think of the demo yet. Mind first the Language Test. Once you pass the Language test, you are free to choose when you want to have the demo
