Her vocals are amazing. She should've done the vocal position, it was because she ranked high in Sorry not sorry even though some trainees did a lil bit better than her. But her being part of izone is a need.
Yeah, one of the downers of being in these competition super groups is that line distribution is hard because there are so many that have the talent to be main singers or lead singers in a group. There just aren't enough lines to go around. Trying to divide a 3 minute pop song among 12 people is really hard. Someone is always going to get shorted who has the talent to do more. I really hope that when she and Wonyoung go back to Starship that Starship puts them in a group with at most 6 members, so they can shine more. While this super group does well on recognition, it is largely because hours of primetime programming introduced them all well. I think a lot of companies will look at how Gugudan, Pristin, and Weki Meki haven't fared well or as well as hoped and realize that having a large group with two or three very well known members probably hurts the group. You rarely get to have the whole group show up on TV to show off the less famous member's charms. So PD's just invite the well-known former IOI members for the most part and maybe 1 or 2 other members. Even on a show like Weekly Idol or Idol Room where the whole group attends, it is hard to show much of a 9+ member group in an hour even if the famous members do their best to avoid the camera. So I really hope Starship has a main rapper, a main singer, and maybe 1 or 2 other members with strong personalities in training that will be ready to debut with these two. Yujin might be able to handle main singer duties if she gets the right technical training over the next couple of years, but her voice is probably better suited to being a strong lead singer. The hard choice for any group with Wonyoung and Yujin, is who is the center going to be.
@@dontbefooledbyanant9515 Let's just say I have been a K-pop fan for a decade, like to study the industry's history, and being an older fan, I like to analyze the business side more than some and put my business degree to work trying to think like the CEO or executives at a music company that are trying to market a new group with two of my favorite "nieces." I've seen a lot of mistakes and some surprising successes over the last decade and I just tried to think how would you best utilize these two lucrative earners that you were lucky enough to sign, and just got done with an incredibly successful "internship" which they had already parlayed into some very high profile gigs, Inkigayo, Music Bank, Innisfree, etc. that were going to give your new group a huge leg up in visibility and marketability. Now the key for Starship is to build on this successful start by getting the other members involved in their own niches and try to make sure the next comeback maybe gives a little better balance to everyone or highlights the skills of certain members more. Also, it might not be a bad idea to let Rei, Liz, and Gaeul open their own Instagram accounts in conjunction with their next comeback or right after. That should let them start building a bit of their own following much as Yujin and Wonyoung already have.
@@kentvesser9484 Yep, they (Starships) really are organized when it comes to the future of their artists according to other yt comments I read about the company, but the fact that you said they would have at most 6 members in their new gg 2 years ago which they really are, shocked me! You have a really good thinking and observations skills. Although I'm only a kpop fan for 3 months because of Izone, yes I only became a kpop fan because of them, and the fact that I discovered the group few months after their disbandment is the worst possible time, and I can't blame myself because I was too busy to try other hobbies such as watching kpops, which is what I want to try right now because life has become friendly with me these past few months, and I became a fan of IVE last year's November even though they haven't debuted yet at that time, and I felt like if there's Yujin and Wonyoung, then they can do well in their new gg, and when I have come to know the other girls, all of them are my bias now 😂😂
@@kentvesser9484 Btw I'm sorry when I overreacted, it became a habit of mine idk why. It's like I was too shocked to see an old comment predicting something in the future which their prediction is actually right. I mean you get my feeling right? 😅😅
+BTS-Army exactly, actually I remember as per some teaser videos/short programs before the first episode of Produce 48, they also feature Yujin more like vocal but not dancing. Sometimes I also find strange she kept choosing dancing part but not showing her vocal skills throughout the whole journey and worried it may put her at risk. Anyway, it is so good that she can make it to the final line up and we can expect to have a really good time to see her showing all her talents in the coming 1-2 years!
BTS-Army Maybe the songs are not really her type so she chose the dance for the eval. And when she chose vocal there is someone better that her so she cant really showcase her vocal skills but Im surprised her vocal is soo good. Her high note in sorry not sorry was the best.
She stood out in vocal among 3 of Starship trainees in the first entrance episode but Mnet then didn't push her vocal ability but dancing skill instead
I read all of the mean comments about Yujin before I started to watch the show. I’m confused. People can be so mean, so butthurt, and so JEALOUS of a young girl who has MORE THAN ENOUGH TALENT to stay and win on the show. I watched her from the first to the last episode and she didn’t give me any negative vibes at all. People called her “fake” because they simply couldn’t believe that she ranked higher than their biases. If Ahn Yujin couldn’t sing, dance, act, and deliver a promising personality then yes- maybe she wouldn’t deserve 5th place but are you people serious?! She had more talent in her than some already-debuted kpop idols. She’s headstrong AND put on a smile no matter how difficult things got for her. She’s such a humble human being!! Yes, she complained about falling down the ranks but it’s not like she was saying she deserves it more than the others. She was beating herself up! She was disappointed about herself. GIVE HER A BREAK!! And no, she’s not my bias. Nako is! But Yujin is one of the few contestants I was rooting for and as a viewer, it hurt to see so many people bashing her for no good reason. What sad people you are. Jealousy is an illness..
viewernim i So true 👍 And when they cant bash her talents, they moved to bash her personality instead even she didn’t do nothing wrong. I cant understand people nowadays 🙄
She remembered me with daehwi, people bash her with the same reason why they bash daehwi. Its kinda sad to see both of them from cheerful on first episode then goes to try to be cheerful on latest episode because the hate speech they get :(
Me neither man.. Haters kept saying she is fake but she seems really natural to me. Haters kept saying she is untalented but she sang and danced really well, even better than their bias whom they deemed as "gifted". I started to notice her because of her bubbly personality but became her defender and then her fan when people seems to hate her for no valid reason. I thought she lost her chance when she dropped to rank 14 but I'm glad things worked out for her in the end :)
Its so saddening to see some hate comments about her, and i feel so happy when her name was called because i know she'd been telling herself that she cant debut because her rank keeps falling down
Tech I am having a hard time stanning the final group because of Yujin and Yena. But hey it is what it is. I want them to be in a korean group like style of AOA or Girls Generation. This IZONE group will be cutesy and I feel like yujin and yena are the theme of songs like YUMYUM and Heart Attack ... they would shine better in those. I support them somewhere else but it doesn’t seem right. Like I wouldn’t stan Kim Hyuna if she was in Twice would I? But I stan her in 4minute because she shines better in that group.
I don't know but seeing ahn yujin cry breaks my heart. You can see her smiling so maybe im used to it. Even her thank you speech she tried to smile but she was crying. Ahn Yujin Fighting! Congrats on your debut💕
When Ahn Yujin was called: -Yena was wiping her tears -Cho Gahyun was crying -Yu Yeonjeong was smiling brightly -Soyou was also crying I think Wonyoung was crying as well and I saw in a fancam when wonyoung was nominated for the center yujin quickly stood up to cheer for her💕 STARSHIP FAMILY 😍 Edit: I think sejeong was rooting for her so she cried a lil bit. Awww💕
Wonyoung cried for Yoojin as well. I think Yoojin let it all out as soon as she heard her name. The girl didn't drop a tear from ep 0 to 11. She really broke my heart.💕
@@soexpensive882 The tears were real. It's some of her smile that was fake. She read the mean comments and you kinda notice that she wasn't really cheerful anymore in the latest episodes. 😢 I'm glad she can debut. Those haters can't do anything now.
Raven Kings She was smiling even if its fake just to show that she was fine even tho she was hurting. Ep 6 and up when the hate started she kept smiling but her eyes are always puffy :< lets cheer for her and the other girls 💞
Omg I love Yujin so much that every time she cry makes me wanna cry too. It’s my first time seeing her vulnerable side and I just want to support her even more. Everyone, let’s keep supporting Yujin on her journey with izOne.
She's really an all rounder entertainer. I think shes one of the members that strong enough to go solo after izone, just like chung ha and somi after ioi (even tho I prefer her to debut in a permanent group so she's not too lonely, cuz look at how sociable she is 😣). Not only musically talented, both in singing and dancing, she also has good expression and variety show skills, hope starship manage her well and not wasting all those talents :')
People saying she’s overrated when her voice is so underrated. Hope she will show us more her vocal skills? 😂 she’s ready good . With that highnote honestly she deserves lead vocalist and 2nd in vocal in my position
Mnet didnt show this side before at the latter episodes. But i found out that she cried when the second rank announcement. That tears are so precious 😢 Sincerely i am really happy to see her debuting. I was ready to face if she didnt make into the line debut. But wow i am really relieve to see her actually debuting for izone 💕💕 Ahn Yu Jin fighting! Many ppl here support you.
Yujin is never really overlooked (at least now in 2020), but she's also extremely underrated. She's a solid and stable vocalist and she knows how to convey what she wants with her voice. That to me will always trump a vocalist with a unique and naturally powerful voice who doesn't know how to use it properly. She fits in the same category with dance as well. She has these beautiful lines and can steal the show because she knows how to make use of her frame to convey both power and beauty. She fills this niche that's more than just a jack-of-all-trades. It's more best-all-around. That's to say, she's incredibly gifted in all areas. She may not be a vocal powerhouse or have an innate, Chaeyeon-esque aura to her dancing, but she will never ever fail to turn heads. But what's impressive is that she's been all of these things since before P48, and her personality and social skills have made her an incredible asset for broadcast. The craziest thing about it is that she's forecast to still be a minor when they disband. I wish her the best of luck, because she has an incredibly bright future ahead of her.
congratulations! Ahn Yujin my favorite trainee from the very start of produce 48...you deserve that high rank...a big slap to those who are saying shes just pretty, shes untalented.
She has sweet alto tone which is also stable. Definitely has potential to be good singer in the future when she can develop her range. Vocal wise, i think she is in the top 3 after Yuri and Eunbi. What i love about her is that she is confident without being greedy about showing off. Also boyfriend material hahahah
@JimIN’ed Too far Beagle is a type of dog. They are known to be loud and outgoing so many people use the term 'beagle' to describe a person who is energetic and noisy.
When I heard their Debut Song, the first I laid my eyes on her 'Ahn Yujin' because she looks like the one who are all rounder in the group and when I watch PD48 my theory is true. She is talented and don't deserve the hate.
Ahn Yujin is an all rounder but she really needs to improve her facial expressions. She looks dull a bit when performing on stage. She really deserved that debut spot. Love for IZONE. Plus I would like to see her shine in variety world too. I see her big potential in variety world. She is a gem. With more performances, I think Yujin can be the perfect all rounder idol.
it’s already 2 years since i started supporting ahn yujin all i can say is im so proud of her she keeps proving that the haters are wrong. I promise to support you forever just keep doing things that makes you happy, I love you❤️
Thank you for the videos since the beginning. Much appreciated! This channel will surely grow more now that our bias will soon debut! See ya guys! Twas a wild ride.
OMG 0.03 she face like camila cabello. she so same nose and lips😂😂 she look like camila when camila in fifth harmony 2015, before camila solo💗 i'm really big fan yujin and camila❤
Yujin has the face of an innocent angel but when she grows up and matures she’ll also have the ability to portray a sexy look so she’s got a good chance of succeeding after IZONE
as someone who only became a fan just this year, it's crazy that she was called overrated in 2018 💀. she was literally just 14 during pd48 too so what "overrated" were they yapping about exactly? watching the yujin cuts and what she's become now, i'm so proud of her. definitely earned her spot in iz*one 🤷♀️
