I have a similar foldable. I got it because it was on a crazy sale, only $500. I'm blown away at how well these perform, and the foldability has already come in clutch several times. I love that I can throw it in my trunk. I've used it to get home when dropping my car off for repairs, taking it to trails away from my house, etc. If you're on the fence, I say pull the trigger.
I can appreciate how easily this bike folds down, and it's portability. My EV doesn't have a tow hitch, so I dont have currently have a carrier. Being able to quickly fold it down and store in the rear hatch area is a real benefit.

Engwe gave been known for there batteries to catch fire. Thevwelding on their bikes is terrible too. Cracking and eventually giving way. One person even went over the handlebars when the weld on the stem gave way. I wouldn't touch them. They may have all the certification but they use extremely cheap parts, and certification can always be faked just to sell the bikes.
