A cool hack for the rear rack is to not attach the cushion, but instead buy a 13" x 22" metal 'mollie panel" which is made from 1/8" aluminum, and you have a good sturdy base that you can mount any number of gear items and packs.
Awesome Video.. im looking to buy this summer. I would definitely will change controller and combine both batteries for power increase. I love that matte blk ( did you sell yet?😅) ... You have best informative videos on this x26. New sub appreciates it.
nice video. my radrunner recently got stolen (partly my fault, left it in a dodgy place. going to be alot more selective with where i leave my bikes in the future). thinking of having this as my next option. quick question- how did you attatch the footpegs, did you have to drill holes in the back of the chasis? also do you reckon you cold fit a front rack on the handlebars? would love the utlility of having both the rear seat and a place to put a rucksack.
Another channel (don’t remember the name) stated they were not happy with that design but that it’s purposely designed that way. State regulations perhaps. His workaround was to turn the bike off and then restart it. But that it was a pain in the butt doing that.
@@RomeoAlberti That’s right! I forgot he mentioned that could be another reason. Do you enjoy this bike? I am REALLY considering purchasing this. It would be my first ebike. I have an Evercross scooter and while it’s fun I think I’d enjoy the bike so much more.
you said you can charge from the outside for the 2nd battery that's smaller but where is the port to do that ? I see the port for the larger battery outside but not the small battery port to charge outside???
Does any one know the model number or where to get the front frame battery from ..I've just bought the x26 but no battery in the front and it's not showing on the engwe website
@@HalfChrome this 'bicycle is made with very low quality components. And from my experience almost all folding bikes are more prone to "issues". And adding motors batteries and "plus" sized tyres is just asking for trouble. If price is the selling point, then sure these bikes tick that box.
@@roddas26.. i hope people dont buy them so ill be more unique... Anyone who does repeatedly aggressively hard riding shouldn't be watching Chinese bargain bike videos. Unless hating is satisfying? Plenty of $3k and more bikes out there...
@@kevinduprey9326 @kevinduprey9326 who would buy a folding electric fat bike to do "repeatedly agressive riding" in the first place. Stop projecting mate. Cheers
@@roddas26 didn’t you just project in that statement ? Maybe somebody wanting it to fit in suv ?, im 6’5 225lbs …. I just like aggressive Modular style and could care less on fold really .. … most of companies cater to women or smaller men and make them low or pass through design… I would use it 1 or 2 times week at most.
