Hey! Due to a large number of requests I decided to make a basic enhancement pvp guide. I do believe this video contains one of the most in depth beginner totem management guide. These tips may not be perfect or 100% accurate, but they should help any beginner enhancement. There are numerous typos, but they are relatively small and shouldn't affect the overall quality of the guide. The video was designed to be informative, not extremely entertaining. However I do try to make it as entertaining as possible, the mass of the video is text commentary. This is a basic guide that every shaman should know in order to do well in my opinion. The text commentary appears rather fast and vanishes fast too, I tend to read extremely fast so I try slowing it down but I ultimately fail. Pausing it would be the ideal solution. I include many variations for gear/enchants depending on whether you want to gem more offensively or defensively, I choose to go a bit more offensively. Enhancement Shamans do lower damage than other dps classes in arena, however they do have things that other classes do not have such as totems. Enhancement Shamans take a while to get used to, they require a lot of binds, and totem management is a important aspect of that.
My Macros
Example of a modifier macro
#showtooltip
/cast [nomodifier]Grounding Totem
/cast [modifier:alt]Tremor Totem
If i press the macro solely by itself, it will cast Grounding Totem if I hold down alt while pressing it then it casts Tremor Totem. Alt can be replaced with other modifiers such as shift. The spells can be replaced to whatever too.
#showtooltip
/cast [nomodifier]Purge
/cast [target=focus,modifier: alt] Purge; Purge
This is a example of a focus modifier macro. If I press the macro solely by itself then it will cast purge on my primary target. If i hold down my modifier which is alt, it will cast it on my focus target. The modifiers and the spell may be changed.
