The only thing I can think of is because having a short song it is easier to stream. BELIFT/HYBE always gives ENHYPEN's title tracks either no bridge, or just super short. It's frustrating. We want MOREEEE!
I’m also sad that this song is short because even &team’s song is so short as well and I know damn well that ain’t because they both are connected (yes I’m an engene and a LUNÉ)
so glad you covered enhypen again! they’re so incredible (especially considering how young they are!) and i’m stunned with every single release 🍊🧡 sweet venom is so good
only disaopoiting part is we aren't getting longer title tracks anymore? it's been going on for like four comebacks?? i need more but they also dont disappoint but idk whats going on with their songs 😔
Maybe it's ENHPYEN's signature song design now since Blessed-Cursed? the "no bridge" title track..an yea I do also am mad by it.. idk if this can be related to I'LL-IT that will debut soon, BE:LIFT are focusing on how to connect them to ENHYPEN and &TEAM, so there are lesser time than before on producing longer songs. 🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂
I agree, I absolutely HATE that their producers keep making their title tracks shorter and shorter, so annoying! Especially with the previous 3 how they also had no bridge, that was one thing I hated even more. At least here we get somewhat of a bridge even if it's short as hell but still, it makes a difference in not feeling as incomplete as their previous 3 songs just insanely too short. It's actually a joke how short this songs is.. only 2:28minutes.. UNDER 2:30? ridiculous. It should be 3 MINIMUM!!! I remember thinking how short Jennie's SOLO was when it came out and that was like 2:50, but 2:28 is taking the piss. As you said, there's not even a valid reason for it; everyone keep saying it's for streaming purposes which I'm sure is true but I'm sorry, people are going to listen to the song just as much if it's 3:28 as if it's 2:28, such stupid reasoning. Ugh, anyway I loooove the song it's so addictive! It got better the more I listened to it and especially if you watch a performance of it, it elevates the song since here it doesn't show the dance break so you don't get the full effect.
