I loved this interview, 30 minutes of enhypen freely answering the questions without any guide and showing their natural dynamic in this kind of environment and how they're getting used to it, they did it really well, they were comfortable and confident, especially jake this boy is so confident when he speaks English and it is really overflowing in this interview
omg throwback to when belift would literally manufacture all their answers for certain interviews 😭😭 it's so much more comfortable now when they're given the freedom to answer the questions how they please, and it shows their chemistry and group dynamic so much better and it let's us see inside their minds way more.
@@heart_miffy_matzz they were probably not media trained well enough they're idols and journalists aren't always kind. I'm glad they seem to have much more freedom now tho!
Jake deserved a lot of praise on this US tour.He's done a great job. It's not just about being able to speak English. How good Jake's personality is, this time showed well. Jake is an integral part of the team.
yes definitely. I went to the concert and jake, heeseung jungwoon niki has the most energy to lead the team and the other team members were good as well
one of the most commendable things that happened in this tour would definitely be Jake's spurt in confidence while leading the group when it comes to these english interviews. he'll never overshadow the members but will always help them out and persuade them to take part actively in the interview, helping them as and when needed. i still remember one of the first interviews that enha did, jakey got nervous speaking in english since it had been quite some time since he spoke in english but look at him now, 2 years later being so well versed and well spoken, im so proud of you jake, im so proud of you ENHYPEN!
THIS REALLY NEEDED TO BE SAID! his confidence in general has just grown a lot throughout this first world tour. I cant wait to see where Jake goes because he surprises and pleases me everytime 😭
It was cute to see NI-KI trying to communicate while nodding to English conversation. JAKE spoke many times more than the rest of the group while on tour. His role and presence was significant.
Heeseung is so sweet to actually eat the cake. I noticed how he took all the gifts and letters from fans and even sign autographs even though he was not supposed to.
I'm so happy the boys seemed so comfortable here and thank you Jon for asking such great questions and having good chemistry with the members. You asked the important questions, like r&b album when and what about Europe and South America tour dates lol but seriously all these questions were great and thoughtful. Jake really has stepped up so much especially while they've been in America not just helping the members translate but hyping them up, letting them all have a chance to speak and even fixing their hair when necessary lol. Sunghoon is endearing here with his little umms, I hope he knows he's doing great and he really added some cute moments to this interview. Also Jay’s American accent and Heeseung's english here 🤧
24:16 another example of jungwon being an excellent and attentive leader and looking out for sunoo! couldn't hear 100% clearly but he pointed out that sunoo hadn't spoke much and directed attention towards him to give him a chance to speak

I love how confident Jake is at speaking English now. He encourages the quiet ones like Ni-ki, Sunghoon, and Sunoo to speak more and helps them understand the questions more. All of their English have been getting better though. Jake and Jay have been doing an amazing job in teaching them English. Heeseung and Jungwon are already somewhat fluent (or at least they can understand). Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki have been doing a great job as well. Also I love how comfortable they are on camera now. I still remember their first few interviews where BELIFT would have them say scripted answers and they were still really stiff on camera. I'm glad that they can now freely answer the questions. It's really unbelievable that they've only been a band for less than 2 years. They have achieved and improved so much compared to when they just debuted. They're more comfortable and confident around each other and on camera. They've released multiple albums and eps and have become one of the biggest fourth gen bands. Hopefully they get more comfortable with fans and cameras to the point where they'll be as chaotic as their seniors. Forever proud of ENHYPEN. Can't wait to see what's in store for them. ❤❤
Jon even suprise at Jungwon's wise answers! Even when other members can't answer, Jungwon will answer it for them. And even the question kinda hard, Jake automatically pass the mic to Jungwon lol hhhahahaha Yes, that's why he is our matured leader that also young!
Jungwon is nervous because his not fluent english speaker but as a leader of the group, he always managed to talk for the members. We support you leader Yang.

it was nice to see jon talking about enhypen's discography, intro narrations, jake's songwriting and lots of details instead of asking simple questions. i could easily see that he really researched and valued his guests. also, thank you so much for smiling while listening to the members, celebrating heeseung's birthday, gifting him a mini cupcake, and giving them a really comfortable and nice feeling rather than the job interview feeling
Jungwon is great at answering questions and when he speaks he makes sure he is looking at the camera and the host. The same goes for Jake. As for the other members, they are still a bit shy. Because when they answer, they always look down. But eventually they will get used to these kinds of interviews.
Just want to appreciate Jake cause he had so much pressure on him while coming to America as the main English speaker but he did everything so effortlessly. Even at their concerts he plays such a huge role in keeping conversations going and cheering/ engaging with the crowd. He made sure the energy was high at all times. I just love how much more confident he has been and I’m so proud of him!

Jay used to be more confident speaking in English during I-land & their first year after debuting. Now, he's very hesitant & unsure of himself which makes me really sad. Something must've happened that made him lose his self-esteem but I hope he'll gain more confidence & improve himself after this tour.
I agree with you. I just decided to become an engene during 'bite me' promoting. I looked back many clip of enhypen members and learn profile in each other. Jay was born in Seaatle,USA. Jay raised by his parent in USA since he was born. Jay childhood life used to live , study and did activities at here until 9-10 years old. I definitely believe in Jay can speak english well. I heard that the kids age 5-9 years old. Kid create memorize and the best knowledge.
Really, boyz looks quite nervous but they did their best. I know they will do great in upcoming times. And one more thing, jungwon really is appreciable. I mean look at him how professional and stable he was though he is second youngest among 7. I'm super proud of him. Plus JAYHONEY*** I want him to feel confident while talking in English I know he is kinda feeling intimate maybe. But I want to shout out to him that his English is beautiful and if he talk without any hesitation then It's gonna be most beautiful thing. He was quit mostly.. I definitely commend Jake for always speaking up and answering the interview questions the best he can, but can we talk about how well Heeseung answered the questions in English? You can definitely see his improvement (as well as with Jungwon) !
For a foreigner, Heeseung's English accent is close to perfection. All he needs is more practice and constant exposure to the language to improve on his fluency. He will then end up sounding like a native speaker. Same goes for Jungwon.

Seeing Enhypen feels so good and real. They are the most natural group I've seen in kpop. People expecting groups to be chaotic or act out or be funny always seems so odd. I'm really thankful Enhypen always been so honest and without much filters in terms of their feelings and attitude. I feel so connected with them, we can see their growth while we are growing with them(I guess we are growing too...right Engenes?)
