Jay was also so in his element getting to do the type of music he loves, our rock god getting the honor of working with senior artists on their 30th anniversary album. So apparently the flag at the beginning was designed by the creator of One Piece. The set at the beginning is also how One Piece starts! Jay is an anime fan & learned Japanese partly from watching anime so this is a nice connection! It was so fun to see Bri’s mouth remain open for the entirety of the JayxGlay mv! 😂 I still can’t believe Jay wrote the lyrics, rapped & sang in both English & Japanese, his 3rd language! I’ll always be grateful to Glay for recognizing Jay’s incredible talent out of all the other artists they could’ve chosen after their exhaustive search!😭
