I'm a woman and chose to have a male do my pat down (leaving Norway) because calling in a female guard would make me miss my flight. I was done more invasively because I'm fat, but the dude was professional about it and I made my flight. A same sex guard should always be offered. Comfort varies by culture and individuals.

she didn’t even need to pat them down since the airport had a ‘no contact procedure’. it’s highly unprofessional, seeing her giggle while patting ni-ki down makes me so uncomfortable and she’s only making them take their masks down because of her colleagues taking videos of them. there was also one video wherein a staff member took a video of enha scanning their qr codes which contains personal data. this is the second time naia/miaa has done this and belift should take legal actions for this.

It’s absolutely disgusting that she put her hand on one of the guys crotches when patting them down and she is giggling. Just because she is a fan and works at an airport does NOT mean she has the right to pat them down or touch them sexually to the point where they feel uncomfortable and unsafe. This ain’t the first time this happened to enhypen. They were filmed while verifying the qr code which contain their personal information and were mobbed by airport staff. Filo engenes gave enha the best cheers and screams just for the airport staff to fck up their ph stay this way. Filo engenes deserve better tbh. Edit: after seeing enha’s situation, a red velvet stan (idk the name of the fandom) came out and said someone was filming the girls when they were in the line to verify their qr codes and irene noticed that and asked the bodyguard to take them out. So this is not the first time this happened to an idol. Airport staff needs to be held accountable for this unless the authorities wants this to be repeated all over again to another kpop idol. This is not an engene thing anymore. If the authorities hold them accountable this might benefit every kpop group

I work in the aviation industry and all I am going to say is ...Yes...they all should be fired with immediate effect. It is absolutely in their contracts to be taking pictures of celebrities and behaving like a fan. Even if it was BTS passing through aviation staff their contracts demand absolute professionalism. For the Security personnel, she is in violation of 4 IATA training procedures...if the Manila airport kept her the Security Manager needs to be fire as well. Because this is showing poor aviation Security procedures. And this is abusing her position. She have absolutely no reason to touch Any of them, there is the wand for that. And IATA demands the wand to be use first and physical search for further measure.

My mum worked as an airport security for many years and yes it is required as a staff to do a full body check. You would be surprised how creative some people can be... Some of you don't understand what security staff are there for. Just because they are celebrities doesn't mean anything. Meanwhile for women, they usually only get pat down by women staff if it’s really necessary. Most of the time you don’t even need a pat down because you removed most of your outer anyway. But in this particular case they’re either wearing baggy outfits or not taking off their baggy jackets. Which in that case, need a pat down
