I feel like Ni-ki wasn't able to fight anymore cuz not only was he shot, but he fell from an overpass. The shots were still painful, but it doesn't really kill them unless their heads are blown off. So the shot just made Ni-ki fall, but the fall itself prevented him from fighting any further.
this is literally the romance untold. because Chloe was never ever mentioned in any of Dark Moon series. But seems to us that she's the human girl they grew up with at the orphanage who also knew what they are and still protect them. There is another theory that they know she's dead somehow but went there to pick up the memories (the tape) of her before they leave to Riverfield. So the songs in this album are literally the songs they dedicated to her (the fans= engenes) in a way but that's why it's romance untold. This is probably like the prequel which is based on their hiding phase moving from one town to another before they get to Riverfield
it's kinda like Vampire Diaries' Elena's doppelgangers situation: the original human version whose blood was sacrificed= Tatia, the very first immortal that's in love with Silas = Amara, katherine(human and vampire), elena(human and vampire with humanity, without humanity). The latter three are all reincarnated and has different lives, but they coexist, still doesn't mean all of them are good. But Chloe is on the good side compares to Selen ofc. But she doesn't seem to have power like Sooha. It's very interesting.

They lost their powers in Orange Blood trailer, so this is a continuation of that. So that's why they have guns here. Maybe next comeback they'll get them back? (But in some vampire concepts they use guns and other weapons regardless, like the Underworld movies.) Makes sense to me anyways, saves energy and just looks cooler on screen tbh.

At the end of the Orange Blood concept trailer it shows that they have lost their vampire powers. Here it seems like they are reinforcing this. They want to protect Chloe from risk but they no longer have their super powers and can only rely on weapons to defend themselves. They are still vampires in their essence but without super powers they cannot save those who are important to them and feel helpless and desolate, like Jungwon's tears coming down at the end. The advantage of them being vampires is that they can navigate between different Eras, return to one of the thousands of memories from the past or return to the present. They can be vampires or be powerless like humans. They can use their supernatural powers or fight using weapons to defend themselves... This is super interesting because you never know what they will bring in the next part of the story.

They do have powers but this is before they went to Riverfield and they still dont know how to properly use their powers. They've been living with humans and doesn't actually learn how to combat fight and can only learn how humans fight.
