Regarding Chopper's voice, during this period the voice actress was pregnant and was temporarily replaced, Chopper's voice will return to normal in a few episodes, the same will happen with Robin in the future.

Chooper's VA was on maternity leave. She comes back, promise. Luffy was starting to doubt his ability to read people. I think he would've just let the wave take him out if Nami hadn't found him and told him about Robin. Zoro just would've drowned.
