Loved the animation...the dancing at the end is priceless! My Grandma was in the Eastern Star...it's the female branch to the Masons. My Grandfather was in the Masons and they would get all duded up for their meetings.

I think that the chandelier was a steal. And Mr and Mrs Fox were a fine couple.

Oh nice shop, My eye went right to the “green vase” and the pup with dish was quite sweet. Granny dancing was my favorite😄

Oh my gosh! My sister and I played dress up at my Grandma’s house when we were little and always dove for the mink collar. It looked exactly like that one. Grandma had the best clothes, hats, and costume jewelry! This really jolted that fond memory. Thank you Scott! Kathleen♥️

Yes I can remember sitting in church as a child…and in front of me was a older lady wearing one of the dead foxes around their neck. I thought to myself…”I will never have one of those “. That’s a nice store.

Oh. Yes! I’d stare at the poor creature around the Church Lady’s shoulder in wonder when I was a kid in the 60s.

That was such fun to watch that this old girl needs a nap! The darling duo of cats, the Heinz electric bean pot/crock pot, the fur shawl collar, and the collection of wonderful vintage chapeaux with tulle (netting) attached. I just wanted to reach into the screen on my phone and grab them!

After a little research.. The Heinz bean pot would have come with a ladle and a dozen small crocks for serving. They were food warmers used as advertising pieces in general stores and newer models were used in restaurants. Pretty interesting!

Scott that's so weird because I just bought one of those bean pots this morning at goodwill for $4 in excellent condition.

🦊I have one of the old foxes draped over a chair in mother's dressing room, the grandchildren were baffled by it when they were little!😂 We don't have a true antique mall in my area at the moment. 😥More decorative decor than antiques. I could definitely get in trouble in this shop🤣

I was costuming a show that took place in the 20s and wanted the actresses to wear a fox stole, it didn't go well. We all felt sorry for the fox, it had the head feet and tail. Poor thing. Love the music, it reminded me of the shows we put on.

Airedale is much taller than a Scottie.

It is such a joy shopping with you. You mentioned syrups I don't know why I convinced myself those sets you had were waffle sets, knew better lol. But my sister and I sat on the phone googling batter and syrup sets 🙃 and decided we might need a set. Thanks for your video!

OMG Scott! Those card boardy rabbits I think are German. My grandmother had purple ones back in the day. Also , I had a great aunt when I was a kid in the late 70s who was an eastern star in North east philly where I grew up. ( I live in Brooklyn now) and around the same time my old timer neighbors would babysit me and make me waffles and ice cream for dinner. We always ate that growing up.

Why in the world wouldn't they let the women stand in their dresses and let the men sit back in the day, for the photos lol?! The poor women, trying to gracefully get down on the ground in their kitten heels, dresses and white gloves!!! My mom was a member of the Eastern Star and was a past Matron, she passed this year on January 26th. Love all of your videos Scott.

Its interesting how the easter bonnet song just feels like home. Reminds me of the Mary Poppins movie. Every song in that movie feels like home. Weird. Hard to explain.

My aunt had one of those mink things and I hated it.

Haha! You made me laugh with your “old lady” comment on the furs. My mother had them in the 1950s and she’s was probably in her late 40s. They were quite popular then. They were Stone Martins and quite fashionable. 😩 I wonder if that bean pot was used in a diner or restaurant to keep the beans warm after baking. They may have been transferred to that pot and served from it. Just a thought. Fab video once again! FYI the dog figure wasn’t an Airedale. Airedales are dark colors. Wire Fox terriers are the coloring of the figurine. I have a wire fox with the same coloring.

Aunt Alice wore her fox stole into the 1970s such nightmares for a young child.🤣 we all got new Easter bonnets gloves and a little purse (with all the frills upon it )

Loved the chandeliers, the green Haeger pottery and the beautiful Czechoslovakian lady. (had to look up how to spell Czechoslovakia) I thought the prices were pretty reasonable.

Love your old videos and records. What a joy to see people enjoying themselves having, "Good Fun." I played my mother's old records. One, The Donkey Serenade, was a tune I played again and again. The Haeger vase was stylish. Loved the Burmese glass. Best out of the glowing green glass was the little sugar jar. Not a fan of all that crystal on the lamps, but did like the "puffy" hanging lamp, not garish but plainly beautiful. Loved looking through the old music sheets. The background music was quite a variety of old and new. The two tiered table was pretty in color and beautifully designed edging. The "dim the lights" sign may have come from a military base or post. The Atkinson framed print was a steal. Be safe, you can go back there again! Loved it.

I have one of the furs with the heads. It was my great Aunt's. It was in my grandmother 's cedar chest that I inherited. It is ugly and I hate it. I don't know what to do with it. No one would wear such a thing these days. It .ives in the cedar chest. Creepy thing.

A rainy day - perfect day for an antique shop. I could have stayed there all day! I never-ever knew that the mouths on the fur stoles opened and closed and you clipped them to your sweater/dress. Creepy then and even creepier today. Great memories of new Easter hats and white gloves to wear to church. I have my Easter basket from the late 50's with a Five and Dime stamp of .29 on the bottom. Priceless photo of your grandparents :) Thank you for the super video.

Watched a 1 year old video. U showed us the vintage hats!!! Loved them, would wear them, and would pull off the look too!!! I would dress all in black, thus the hat would be the STAR!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞

The terrier is possibly a fox terrier. Airedales are black with a tan saddle, legs and face and also the largest of the terrier breeds.

Another fantastic antique shop! I'd be in there for hrs. I always try to limit my spending to 💯. Or less. This shop it'd be difficult. Prices were fantastic too. I love Hall and Haeger pottery.
