Very true. That'll be my last fire for a while. At least until the fire ban is lifted.

Those woods with the pines are so similar to a place that I camp here in Louisiana. I only wish I had some beautiful desert that you have.

It's crazy, when I first came out here. I was in awe and couldn't get over the desert landscape. Now, it's just all normalized and I think about the trees. I'm glad it's summer time and I get to go up north. Enjoy the change in landscape, without the cold weather.

@@OmarDoinStufThe old saying . . . the grass is always greener. I love Louisiana. I’m sure you’d love to experience camping in a swamp. I cannot wait to camp in a desert. Take care.

GREAT JOB PICKING UP THE TRASH OMAR! You rock for doing that dude, we need more people like you! You probably already figured it out but, all you have to do is give your heater buddy a little pep talk in the morning to keep the pilot light lit. Keep on camping man. 🌲🌲🌲

Thanks, it's all our home. Hopefully I will inspire others to do better when they are out camping and make sure they are leaving no trash behind. Great idea for the buddy heater, positive energy!

It is a great location. It was nice being immersed in the trees. Especially when you live in the desert.

O for fire ring! That was a beauty! With the buddy heater, you need to hold the twist button down for like 90 seconds sometimes. You look like you were enjoying your time out there. Looks like you were off the 527. Also, when are you gonna start building your Taco?!?

Thanks, it was beautiful out there. It is a great spot in you want to be surrounded by trees. I loved it. As soon as my finances let me, I'll be building my truck out. I am itching for that day. I'm hoping by the end of the year, I can start.

Howdy Omar, great videos. Thank you for sharing with us. Where was this campsite? I don't need coordinates. Looks kinda like Flagstaff or Prescott. I'm in Mesa and still working on my rig, but should be out there again in September

Not trying to be negative but I’m wondering why you didn’t just camp 20 ft over at the current fire ring? Instead of making a new ring? It’s frowned on to keep making new fire rings everywhere 🤷
@OmarDoinStuf
@OmarDoinStuf 4 месяца назад
No worries, I didn't film it all but there was a lot more trash in that area and I wanted to be in a clean area. Also, I actually found out this week, from a park ranger, that when dispersed camping you need to destroy the fire ring. It's a part of leave no trace behind.

Great video man but tbh the best places to camp is gunna be the ones that are the hardest to get to. The lazy people that come to popular easy to get to campgrounds don’t care about the “leave no trace” principle so you’re more likely to find trash and such, which is a shame. They like the outdoors but don’t appreciate it enough to take what they brought in out with them
@OmarDoinStuf
@OmarDoinStuf 4 месяца назад
Thanks. Sometimes I just want to get to camp and really don't want to go on an adventure for the harder spots. I also like to show the mess and clean up to hopefully inspire others to do the same. Shine a spotlight on it and maybe they will think twice.
