These canister shells are solid and I’m not just saying that! I paid over $100 of my own money for each kit so you know I’m not lying when I say they are good. I would prefer the Barely Legals over the Lock and Loads but both preformed really well!

I'd rather have quiet fireworks that barely make any noise at all so that way I can actually enjoy them without my ears hurting. :) Noise sensitivity is fun. But, I can enjoy them all on RU-vid so yeah. The bigger and louder ones are much cooler. Of course, only when I'm either very far away or behind a screen.

Cody you can make your own sparking matches by scraping a pencil and take the graphite shavings and roll the matches in the shavings when the fire hits the graphite sparks will shoot

Got to light a few of the Barely legal 5 inch Mega Shells. Definitely one of the best shells I have seen. Honestly just glad i got to light anything this year. Keep up the awesome videos.

So they get a lot of flak for not being big, but the 1" mini mortars with the plastic shells are, I think, about the most fun to launch and surprisingly loud/colorful.

FYI Those sparkler matches have been around for over 40 years. My sister burned her entire hand because one of the sparks from those matches caught the entire hand on fire.

6:47 I actually HAVE lit cigarettes with those! (those were a "thing" as far back as the 1970s! Those were a "hoot" in a dark bar! (Yes, I still smoke cigarettes, and Yes, I'm old. Old enough to remember when matchbooks had the striking surface on the FRONT! 😲) 👍😊👍

@@4smashed20 and technically it isnt illegal to posses them its just illegal to fire them off without a permit .. I used to go out to a shale pit out in the mountains here in pa before they changed from safe and sane to consumer fireworks back in 2018

Yea in mass you cant even have them i dont think lol. We used to go to nh and grab them but its lame with no bottle rockets or firecrackers I don't think canisters shells are allowed either but can get stuff that shoots.

Picked up a few boxes each of 5" Barely Legal and Grand Jury... both very solid. With COVID shutting down all of the public displays, I have a feeling the neighborhoods are going to be off the hook this year.... I know we went a bit overboard. 🤦‍♂️😁

It's interesting seeing what the US has as consumer grade products. I'm a licensed Pyrotechnician in Australia so I don't typically see much of this kind of product. All our stuff is bigger or commercial stuff in plain packaging.

I had a licensed pyro help me with my show last year, and he was shocked by how much fun he had shooting consumer stuff. He acknowledged how much bigger his pro stuff is, but remarked how the consumer stuff was more personal.

I've seen some US Consumer Grade cakes and products here and they are nice for a smaller event like a wedding but if you're working with bigger crowds it's usually not impressive enough. You need to be in the 30mm range as a starting point for bigger crowds in my experience.

My favorite canister shell that I’ve used, is the Hard and Heavy shells. Not as much effects as say a Excalibur, the its the loudest break I’ve seen in a 1.4g shell.
