This build was such a great idea. I remember Tom's Turbo garage doing a LS swapped Miata and I think that combination along with this would be an interesting thing to see! I may have to try that out.

I drove my orange SB from Vermont to Belize and back 50 years ago. Still remember the smell of Pemex gas… maybe 80 octane. That was a road-trip for sure… I was a younger man for sure too.😊
Brings back fond memories of the '72 Squareback which was my second vehicle. Not the best condition--a few dents here & there, worn interior, original EFI switched to dual carbs, etc.--but what memories. Tons of character & never let me down. Still miss that thing 😢
The title of this video said it already, but I would like to see more technical details of your mongrel/hybrid. Especially about the cooling system and air-intake for the radiator. Did you ever thought about a fake black european license-plate or a look alike? A black mesh /grill with broken/torn letters and numbers and stamps? In the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, France, UK .. they had a black background with white writing back in the days. Are you planning to attach door panels again?
