In this piece, the dancer wants to know how to address Lord Krishna so that he will accept her call to offer His grace. She recalls the episode of the elephant Gajendra who when trapped by a crocodile while drinking water in a river called out to the Lord as Aadimoola and lo, the Lord appeared to kill the crocodile and save his devoted elephant. The dancer, in the second sanchari, brings in the episode of the Draupadi vastraabharanam. Draupadi, the wife of the Pandavas, was ordered to be disrobed in the court of Duryodhana. While Draupadi cried out for help, everyone in the court was helplessly watching but could not do anything to stop Duryodhana. Draupadi, in utter helplessness, raised her hands and called out to Krishna who sent help to her in the form of an endless saree that tired the man who was trying to disrobe her. The whole court was stunned on seeing the mercy of the Lord!
