My predominant energy is 8. I so appreciate how you so clearly explain how power and sensitivity go together! This has been a lifelong issue for me in trying to balance the two. While I learned on my own that this was essential, I still somehow felt like it was a rather unique challenge. This helped to so clearly validate my experience! Thank you.
Thank you Catherine and Russ. I'm a 9 and this is bang on. "Thinking about spiritual stuff doesn't mean I'm connected with reality" was what I needed to hear. Couldn't agree with you more that 9's have just as much aggression as 8's!
As an 8, when I'm under severe stress, I HAVE TO self-isolate. If I don't, there's hell to pay. If I tell you that I need a moment alone... ESPECIALLY after a major disagreement or when I'm in severe pain, that's because I love and respect the person enough to not hurt them emotionally... I don't want to regret hurting them. I need to meditate and generate spiritual energy from the universe.
