Enneagram Types Camping 

As an 8 I felt that 8 at the grill. That is 100% me in my kitchen. Finding less mean ways of saying "Thanks for the offer but you aren't actually helping. You are in my way. Get out of my kitchen." is pretty much half of what I do when cooking.

Loved this one💕 I am a 6 and could relate to the 9 spending 48 hours packing but 48 days mentally preparing. This is how my 6 brain works: No matter how long I have booked a trip ahead, I spend the entire time worrying about what can go wrong and trying to find the perfect clothing that will be stylish but versatile and pack well and is super comfortable. I bring multiple jackets for every conceivable weather situation. I bring every type of medication for any type of illness or pain. We are leaving for a trip abroad in a week. We have to do carry-ons. I am dying! I will have to become a whole different person to leave behind all of my just-in-case stuff😱 Thanks for doing these videos! They bring me so many giggles! I love to share them with family and friends who are just entering the enneagram journey because they are completely entertained and charmed!

I ADORE this, and I adore your channel. The only thing I would have included was the 7 adding a silver lining or positive spin to the 'no sleeping bags'.

This is SO fun! I'm a 9 and just went camping with a 3, 5, a 6, an 8, a 7, and a few others. The thing about nines is not that we like to nap and sleep all the time, but that we fall asleep to our own desires and true nature. If everyone is hiking, I won't nap, of course I will go along with the crowd!

I hate camping due to my asthma and other issues. But I do like stargazing. Sincerely, an Enneagram 4. I hope you had fun with your family

"Bear-spray" 🤣🤣🤣 I loved it! But all of them was soooo spot on! We were camping just this summer and me, as an 8 didn't let anyone to help me with cooking (but at the end of the day I was so tired and angry with everyone), my daughter 6 was keen on what we ate and my son 9 was preparing for a day to get everything packed into the car. Well, at least my other son 7 had a great time and a lot of fun! 😅 (Of course, we didn't ask him to help in essential things, because he always forgets...)

I hate camping (thank you Girl Scout Camp in 5th grade). But as an Enneagram Six I would have to say you totally nailed how I would be. Also, the bathroom scene from the One. All totally me. Thank you for the awesome representation. (And I'm glad you had any amount of fun!)

Well, I'm an outdoor T2. But I'm also a Gemini with Scorpio moon...so that might have something to do with it....also T8 digs the freedom to be ...and 4 loves loves loves nature's beauty. My one wing is pretty picky about campsites, and T3 stays home for her projects. You were very fun. I really laughed at 9, roping off her space.

I’m a 9w1, and I feel seen. I don’t actually nap, but I need that alone/quiet time, and being exhausted from hours of physical preparation combined with months of mental preparation is me every trip, no matter where I’m going. And the 1 attributes apply, too.

When you do the Enneagram 3 you almost always focus on the social media content aspect - which is great - but as a 3W2 it feels like it really misses so much of who 3s are.. 3's are all about getting shit done (better than anyone else) so they can be given the pat on the back that they crave. We are crazy workaholics - desperately trying to do what we think will get the gold star from someone else. We are extremely efficient, great leaders and very much the supporters/encouragers for others. It's about action and validation - not just about getting likes on social media.

Michelle, I love this! I’m a 9w1 and totally relate to the preparation part of camping for the 9, and also everything you said about type 1. It’s hilarious because it’s SO true!! But I NEVER nap, and the other type 9s I know don’t either. Snuggling under a blanket around the fire….definitely! But every time I hear napping mentioned for the type 9, I wonder where that’s coming from. But you do a great job. Love you and Leeann, too! 😊❤️

As a 9w1 I’m here for all the camping naps and make sure to bring my tiny brush and dust pan for the tent! 😂😅

No shoes in the tent! Totally 🤣🤣 As a Type 1 it's a nightmare trying to keep everything clean and tidy all weekend while living in a world of dirt, pine needles and bugs!

I love camping - 9w8 and my son laughed at how accurate the sleeping situation was for me. I always have at least 2 sleeping bags, my favorite pillow, and a cot. And I love letting my hubby take the kids and relaxing at camp. I don't need to mentally prepare for camping though. We have it down to a science. Lol

Kudos to you, Michelle. Not only did you do a great video, you put up with a weekend of camping for your family. I've always said that I feel like "roughing it" means Motel 6. I'm a 7, but use my full-out 6 wing when I have to prepare for any trip.

Wow, totally nailed the 5! I am a 5 and absolutely adore camping, but the people are the problem. Hence why I go backpacking in the backcountry 😂. I was also and Anthropology major and always feel like I'm getting back to my ancestral roots😂😂

I’m a 5 and yes, the whole point of camping for me is to get away from other people. I like to camp in the off season when campgrounds are empty, it’ll be colder but worth it for the solitude!
