Enoch Powell was a prophet. He was a very clever man that knew exactly what was to come. How can anybody suggest rthat he was wrong on anything in this speech? If he was "racist" he would never have bothered to learn 13 languages. There are a few people that claim Enoch to be "racist" without any proof of that fact. It has just become a word that has been thrown around. Enoch Powell's only wrongful claim from this speech is that he massively underestimated the figures that would come here.

Yes, I agree with you on that, there are thousands of people who have arrived in Britain and have added to the culture of this Country. I have a number of friends who's family originated in the Caribbean. However, as we have seen in recent weeks, there is a growing number who go very much against the values of this Country and separate themselves within their own religious, cultures and beliefs, not wanting to join the wider community, wishing to persue their own agenda and their own aims, whatever they ultimately are?

Same here. I have friends from Jamacia. Their grandparents came on the Windrush. Worked hard and made a home in the face of difficulty. My great aunt rented a room to a couple. But that's not to say they won't refuse ..many hoops and loops to go through first ..but funds are important . Your analysis is spot on. I’m from the eastend of London and spent most of my 58 yrs happy with our immigration but we are at the very point Powell makes. If you import the third world you’ll become the third world. The issue lies in how you differentiate between those who are permitted and those who are not. Just because individuals have been residing here temporarily does not automatically make them British, nor does their mere presence signify belonging. The leniency in allowing people and the blending of races ultimately results in a dilution of the pure British identity within two or three generations.

Instead of the preaching we have been used to for generations -like, to take your cross up and follow Jesus, - entertainment, art and culture will invade the churches where there should have been gatherings for repentance and revival. This will increase markedly just before the return of Jesus. 3. "There will be a moral disintegration that old Norway has never experienced the likes of. People will live together like married without being married. (I do not believe the concept ‘co-habitor’? existed in 1968 - E. Minos.) Much uncleanness before marriage, and much infidelity in marriage will become the natural (the common), and it will be justified from every angle. It will even enter Christian circles and we pet it - even sin against nature. Just before Jesus return there will be TV- programs like we have never experienced. (TV had just arrived in Norway in 1968. E. Minos) "TV will be filled with such horrible violence that it teaches people to murder and destroy each other, and it will be unsafe in our streets. People will copy what they see. There will not be only one ‘station’ on TV, it will be filled with ‘stations.’ (She did not know the word ‘channel’ which we use today. Therefore she called them stations. E. Minos.) TV will be just like the radio where we have many ‘stations,’ and it will be filled with violence. People will use it for entertainment. We will see terrible scenes of murder and destruction one of the other, and this will spread in society. Sex scenes will also be shown on the screen, the most intimate things that takes place in a marriage." (I protested and said, we have a paragraph that forbids this kind of thing. E. Minos.) There the old woman said: "It will happen, and you will see it. All we have had before will be broken down, and the most indecent things will pass before our eyes." 4. "People from poor countries will stream to Europe. (In 1968 there was no such thing as immigration. E. Minos.) They will also come to Scandinavia - and Norway. There will be so many of them that people will begin to dislike them and become hard with them. They will be treated like the Jews before the Second World War. After the riots in Dublin this week, of the so called "extremists" I have spoken too, one sentiment rang true. They don't care who you are or where you are from, what matters is where your loyalties lay first and foremost. If you're Irish, or English and you are against your fellow man, you can go and do one. He wasn't a racist, he spent a lot of time in India and had Indian friends, but I can see how younger generations would see him as such. He has a very interesting background and if you look into it you will see how much he did for this country and the free world by playing a key part in winning WW2 before he became an MP, you will then realise how he was such a skilled analyst as he was the man who had to get inside Rommels head to work out what he was thinking, and come to think of it the only one I know of to go from private soldier to brigadier by the end of the war. It's because "the letter killeth but the Spirit giveth life". Meaning people don't listen or try to understand. The most annoying thing is when people refuse to learn and talk in the language of their adopted country. Or they try and preach foreign ideals and religions that could endanger our culture or country.
